Those high necked shirts she’s been wearing sometimes without pants are very 80’s. Is that back in now? She seems to be the only one wearing that style.
August 7, 2015 at 1:48 pm #47885shadowParticipantI have no sympathy for Abigail. She doesn’t have enough sense to see what a jerk Ben is. He is such a smart eleck. Clyde needs to be thrown to the wolves. I feel for Martin. He was a nervous wreck yesterday. Clyde is a full blown triple JERK!!
August 7, 2015 at 2:15 pm #47886justwonderingParticipantLet’s see, she has 2 men after her. One is the son of the biggest villain in town with a family history of lies, deception and underhanded dealings. The second is the son of a hillbilly like thug who everyone has underestimated to this pint. Wow, some choice!
However, Ben is much more naive about his father’s dealing! I don’t understand why you call him a jerk. I really cannot blame him for getting in Chad’s face about Abigail. Chad has been after him from day one and his motivs have not been above board. There is something about Chad I don’t trust and it is not that he is Stefano’s son! He went from Abigail to Jordan, and threw it in Ben’s face often so I can see his reaction
August 7, 2015 at 5:43 pm #47888DCola522ParticipantI’m thinking it’s gotta be the actress’ personal style… she is the only one of the 20’s/30’s age group who doesn’t wear skintight or fitted or low-cut anything! Even her mother does!
Only exception was her 4th of July picnic bikini.
August 7, 2015 at 7:42 pm #47889caseyParticipantthat just as Kate is warned about Clyde he’s been acting snarky with her. I would not want to be in her shoes if she starts delving into his doings. But it is high time for Clyde to start feeling some heat of his own. Hope and Rafe’s efforts need to show some results; this SL has been stalling.
August 8, 2015 at 2:49 pm #47893PattiParticipantand Mansi’s character is not now, and I’m thinking nor will she ever be, a character I care about, but I’m afraid this sl isn’t going away anytime soon. For me, personally, I could care less what happens to the characters or the actors themselves. All three of them could leave tomorrow and I wouldn’t miss them. Abigail Devereaux is a boring, spoiled brat with an unhealthy appetite for bad boys, two-at-a-time no less, so to me she deserves everything she gets. Chad DiMera, and I still have to laugh at the thought of him being a DiMera, will never hold a candle to E.J., I don’t think he’s attractive but will admit he has nice eyes, and try though he may, he will never get out from under his father’s thumb unless or untl one or the other is dead. As for Ben, who I like to refer to as "Benocchio", is probably the best of this trio, because other than the fact that he’s boring to the bone, he’s completely unaware of the sins of his father, but which he’s about to learn and soon. No, for now Ben’s worst mistake was allowing Clyde back into his life, and then allowing Clyde to talk him into putting that app on his phone so he could keep tabs on Abigail. Other than that, all he’s ever done is fall in love with the wrong girl, who is in now in love with and pregnant by his worst enemy, but will stay with Ben because she thinks he’s the father, yet he’ll know he’s not because his DNA wasn’t tested. Talk about an unlucky kid who’s not even here yet!!! (sigh!!!) Yep, that’s your destiny Abigail, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg your floating on. So hold on for dear life……or NOT!
August 8, 2015 at 9:58 pm #47894TFlo1018ParticipantCouldn’t care less Patti – not could. Could implies you care a little bit. (Sorry – MAJOR peeve for me.)
August 9, 2015 at 1:20 am #47895PattiParticipantbut when I’m ranting about these three throwaways, frankly, my dear, I just don’t give a damn. LOL! And, by the way, I do know that rule!!!
August 9, 2015 at 2:41 pm #47896BonbonParticipantyes, that really bothers me too. One that a woman on another site always uses that also drives me crazy (even though I’ve hinted that she correct it) is, she says, “Have a awesome pawsome day.” It’s AN, not A! Didn’t we learn that one in grammar school?
August 9, 2015 at 2:44 pm #47897BonbonParticipantwhy in the heck doesn’t she tuck her shirt in? If she’s trying to be fashionable, that trend didn’t make it Abs. Nicole too. Rafe used to do it but he’s come around.
One trend the show has rubbed off on me thought is the one finger nail with a different color polish. I just did that the other day. Purple and aqua. :o)
August 9, 2015 at 3:35 pm #47898PattiParticipantbut, then, this one was a given!!! LMAO!!!
August 9, 2015 at 5:13 pm #47899caseyParticipantI could go on all day. Everyone these days it seems says, “I could have ran” or “I could have went”. And the all-star is “laying on the couch” instead of lie. A local newscaster was mentioning the marine corps and she actually said “corpse!”
August 9, 2015 at 5:37 pm #47900bluebonnetParticipantdrives me crazy, too! Many years ago, I was a kindergarten teacher. After lunch, the children would get out their mats and rest for about 45 min. There was a teacher across the hall who would call out every now and then, "Lay down." It took everything I had not to go over and correct her.
August 9, 2015 at 8:57 pm #47901TFlo1018ParticipantIt drives me INSANE!!! Right up there with grown men who wear digital watches & short sleeve dress shirts. HAHA
August 10, 2015 at 2:48 am #47902justwonderingParticipantThe sayng I hate the most is when a person says, They busted the drug ring". There is no such word as busted, yet newpwople and police use it all the time. I guess English is just too hard.
