So did they say where Nicole is supposed to be living?
April 21, 2010 at 11:36 pm #1231753tdogsParticipanttrolls…I’m sorry, but Nicole is even worse than she was before – (Nicole the character, not the actress Arianne), she is irredeemable as a person, she has learned nothing. I would have hoped that through all that she did and had been through there is a trace of worthiness in her…not!
I stuck by liking her all those months, (even though she made me mad for kidnapping Sydney), but I thought she was just in a really bad place given her history, but not anymore.
I think that Arrianna should have TKO’d her twice on Sunday after the incident with Abe at the police station.
April 22, 2010 at 2:35 am #12323mama_freeParticipantSorry, I really like Nicole and don’t care for Arianna(the old Theresa from Passions) one bit. It’s funny how we can all watch the same show, yet have different faves and ones we don’t like.
April 22, 2010 at 11:31 am #12329SWParticipantNicole does to people but she’s not supposed to be a ‘good’ character, is she? I think those two working together could be entertaining for a while anyway. I don’t want Nicole to get Brady, she’s better with EJ and he deserves her!
April 22, 2010 at 12:58 pm #12335PattiParticipantbut this seems to be the Nicole Walker that the writers would rather she be. She’s the one they wrote the fractured fairy tale about: "when she is good, she’s very very good, but when she is bad, she’s better." LOL. I love the confrontation between her and Ariana on this job. They HAVE to work together, and that means getting along at some point; otherwise, their services as Titan employees will be useless to Victor, Phillip and Brady and I don’t think that will be tolerated, so at some point I see them putting their competition for Brady aside and discovering that working together instead of against each other will, perhaps, help both of them. At least I’m hoping so. Personally, I find both of these women strong characters. Ariana is terrific at standing up to Nicole lately. I love that she can dish it out as well as take it. She seems to be much more secure in her relationship with Brady (although I don’t know why — he’s still sending mixed signals). I will always love Nicole with E.J., but I don’t see that happening now. Too bad (although E.J. has been turned into a wimp, and for what, a tryst with brainless, clueless Sami — one that may happen but will in no way be the end game.)
April 22, 2010 at 4:57 pm #12343DCola522ParticipantWhere the heck is she living and where is she getting money from? Certainly not EJ!
April 23, 2010 at 3:00 pm #12381islandgalParticipantI really like Nicole too – good or bad – I love the actress and really enjoy watching her portray this character. I wanted her to find some semblance of "happiness" with EJ. I hated that she lost her baby and began conniving. I believed her rationalizing taking Sydney "for EJ" (because Sami was just going to lie/hide his daughter from him). (I didnt’ say it was "right" I said I believed her rationalizing a plausible emotion/action for the character.) I think her stint in prison has sharpened her. BUt then I liked Nicole when she was introduced as a waitress being "discovered" by Eric Brady to be a new model and the development of her backstory (except for being Brandon’s sister- that was a stretch.)
Something about Arianna never clicked for me. The actress is fine, but I never cared for the character at all. I like Rafe, but have no connection with his two sisters. Either I wasn’t watching often enough or the "family" didn’t really get fully developed to where I give a care.
April 23, 2010 at 9:15 pm #1239453tdogsParticipantI believe that Nicole was conniving longggggggggg before the baby switch…I think given her history she is totally irrational:
From going from Trent, to Eric, to Colin, chased Austin, to love of $$$ and marrying Lucas, and throwing him over for Victor…to EJ, and Brady, etc. That’s just the men.
Now start with her "sins" committed bigamy – two times, shot Colin, intent to commit murder by hiring Larry to kill Victor, shot Paul, tried to get Victor (again), messed up Chole (her now BFF) and her surgery, blackmailed EJ, faked a pregnancy, drugged Brady (the guy she’s now ‘in love with’, bribed Dr. Baker, steals: stole (vase) – stole baby, helped in another kidnapping – Stephanie’s…etc., etc., etc. The list goes on and on…
I think she’s way out done Kate, Vivian, Jan and Sami in the conniving department.
April 23, 2010 at 10:21 pm #12395drea4713ParticipantI like her extended name, except I think it’s Robbins instead of Layton. Wasn’t that Trent’s last name?
April 23, 2010 at 11:50 pm #12397GoodyParticipantI knew that Layton wasn’t Trent’s last name, but I could not think of Robbins for love nor money.
Nicole is still one of my favorites whether she is good, bad, or indifferent; AZ can really act.

April 24, 2010 at 1:47 pm #12404PattiParticipanther and E.J. BELONG together. I’m still wondering if we’re ever going to find out why Melanie’s last name was Layton. Anyone at DOOL care to explain that? Of course not! Oh, I know, maybe when the staff member responsible for naming characters FORGOT that they named Roscoe Born’s character "ROBBINS," either that staff member, or better yet someone else, possibly after a late night out, or badly in need of cataract surgery, thought it was "LAYTON," and…WHOOPS, Melanie Layton was born.
April 24, 2010 at 4:54 pm #12411BonbonParticipantbecause she didn’t want to be associated with her father.
April 25, 2010 at 12:06 pm #12426SWParticipant"lay -ton" of guys. She was put out as a hooker for Trent, right?
