Will called Derek, Eric, then made a well noticed correction in the next sentence by emphasizing the name Derek in the next line he spoke.
Just like he blew the line about Ari having nieces and nephews. The Will Horton character isn’t the only one that’s awful…the actor is right up there with him, IMO!
Did he blow the line about Are or was that what was written? Yes he should have known it was not right, however I am not sure he is to blame for writers making a mistake!
could or should ad lib dialogue; but, actually, it’s not even the writers’ fault….it would be first and foremost the final scene editor’s mistake for not catching it to begin with. It just tells me how so little attention is paid to who is responsible for putting the final scenes together. In any case, Will and Sonny should have at least made some sort of crack about Ari being an only child.
