Don’t tell me after he found out his “true love” was murdered by the man he is working for, as well as his former “employee” and has threatened him within an inch of his own life, he wouldn’t go running at 100 mph to that DEA guy and tell him he wanted out. Heck, he has enough on Clyde to get him arrested as it is. More unrealism.
JJ knows Clyde is having him watched, obviously by that laser beam pointed directly at him when he did confront Clyde, and he also now knows Clyde is no idle threat, and that if JJ spouts off about Clyde in any way, shape or form, his mother and sister will both wind up dead. This poor kid is between a rock and a hard place, so although he’s determined to take Clyde down and out, he knows that any attempt to bring in the police will seriously jeopardize the lives of his mom and sis.
