What I found very odd is that once Jerry saw the emotion from Eli, Lani & Theo in believing that Abe is not coming back at all & when Theo had the stuffed bear had shown as to where that came from & the story behind it & had placed it on his father’s shine that it’s okay to desecrate the shrine, given that Abe is the Mayor of the town? Isn’t very odd that they aren’t at all playing up where the hostility of Jerry is coming from to allow himself to desecrate the shrine?
