I don’t know if they are going there or not. When Charlie was invited to a wedding, that wedding took place in Marlena’s loft, the one she has with John. Will was invited to that. When New Year’s came along, Maggie had zoomed Sonny for Will & they were able to celebrate the New Year with each other. This time around, if Gabi dies in Stefan’s place, Sonny should come back into it, once Justin informs Sonny of what happened to Gabi. Once Sonny shows up to lay her to rest, Sonny “zooms” Will to find out as to how Ari handled the news of mommy’s death. I would like to see Will saying, “it wasn’t pretty”, & he brings up to Sonny, Ari said “is mommy coming back the way you did” So you tell me as to why Banus was so willing to allow the show the go ahead with this scenario by telling them that she wants to leave the show to focus on other things, allowing the writers to write the above. Yes, I know that the character has no way of knowing of what’s going to happen to her, but what I’m getting at is that the actress needed to realize as to what it would do to her tv daughter, no matter if “Gabi’s” daughter is in New Zealand or not.
I saw yesterday that there is a casting call out for a Hispanic female in her mid-thirties, who is comfortable showing her body. Sounds like they are planning to keep the Gabi character, but there may be a break. So I’m thinking she might go to see Ari, and come back a different person.
I don’t think so. I also can’t see a recast for Gabi. Yes, Gabi & Abigail are two different fictional characters, but still, with Marcie Miller being a stay-at-home mom to her child & Kate Mansi is now on General Hospital, but you don’t see the show bringing bringing Abigaiil back alive, do you? Think about it. Look what happened with Guy Wilson, to the show he was the worst recast known to mankind & they killed off his Will & due mass backlash to the point where Will was brought back alive as Chandler Massey. What I’m getting at, is what happens if this new recast you are talking about has her Gabi getting killed off the way GW’s Will was, & they are forced to bring Banus back. Do they really want to repeat that, yet again?
I don’t believe Gabi will be killed off. When Abigail was killed and when Will was killed, there was a lot of backlash. No one liked Guy Wilson, but the character of Will being killed was not a positive thing for Days. I still believe Gabi will go away for a few months, and come back with a new look.
Then explain as to why Stefan, as her husband isn’t going with her, given that he is about to be Ari’s stepfather? Then this, it doesn’t matter if no one liked Guy Wilson or not, what I’m getting at is this, don’t you think that it’s odd that Kate Mansi playing Kristina on General Hospital, Marcie Miller being a mom that they have to have Abigail to stay dead, given it wasn’t a positive thing for Days when it came to Abby’s murder, much less Will’s death? Because I can’t see Gabi ordering her husband to stay in Salem & having him to allow her to go to NZ all on her own without him, right? Additional info: Look what transpired when Guy Wilson came on & with how no one liked Guy Wilson, look as to what they had done, they murdered the character, what happens when they do that again if the recasted Gabi gets the same treatment the way that GW had gotten, wouldn’t that defeat the exit story & then recast & then have her killed off the way they did with GW’s Will?
