I’m going to take a wild (and probably dead wrong) guess here that the killer will be PAUL, and here are some reasons:
1. Paul’s professional baseball career was ended when his surgery was a failure and he was told his career in baseball was over.
2. Until his recent reconciliation with John, he hated everyone in Salem because he felt it caused his mother so much heartache when the truth came out about John, especially because he realized that John’s heart always belonged to Marlena.
3. Once he realized Sonny was in Salem, he made it obvious that Sonny was and always would be his true love, and once he found out Sonny was married to Will, it broke his heart all over again.
4. Now that Sonny has left Salem, he blames Will for ruining what he believed could one day bring Sonny back to Paul.
5. So why Serena — once he befriended both John and is respecting that he loves Marlena, he still holds a resentment for Marlena because of his mother. Eric is Marlena’s son, so maybe he decided that Serena was a little bit of a payback for Eric loving her at one time.
6. So why Paige — I think Paige got a look or a slight glimpse of him, and even though she may not recall seeing him, he felt she had to be eliminated if she should ever recall it.
7. The next victim will be Will — this will be the most obvious of reason — because he knows Sonny would return once he finds out Will is dead.
8. Why Marlena — although he has become somewhat friendly with Marlena, he somehow knows that she is investigating or profiling the murderer and soon will figure out or suspect Paul.
9. He will continue to take out or attempt to take out people close to Will and/or the Bradys for the same reason — he blames the whole town for his life as it is today.
10. Once Will is dead and Sonny leaves for good, there will be no future for Paul and I don’t see any casting for another gay male character anywhere.
11. Paul certainly fits the physical description of the killer on next weeks promo.
12. The shock reference would definitely be there if the murderer turned out to be John’s son.
These are all just my speculations, and like I said, I’m probably completely and totally wrong, but no one has even suggested it could be PAUL NARITA!!! Anyone think this makes any sense at all? LOL!
Definitely would be a shocker and how many are considering Paul? I can understand all your reasoning except for Serena. It seems to be a stretch for me to grasp. The others I can well see fitting. And he would certainly have the youth and strength to overcome the victims. If he’s resentful I should think he’d want to go after Brady as he should feel he was left out of that family upbringing.
It would sort of be a shame, as I kind of liked the burgeoning dad/son relationship.
Still wondering if the tie is just the mode of murder or a symbol.it could be that he considers Eric like a brother to him and therefore lashed out at Serena for hurting Eric.
and given all of Patti’s other well thought out reasons – plus the fact that once I’m thinking about it I don’t believe Days would make both a former priest and Brady son a killer (add to that Will’s murder will be enough grief on their plate)- Paul seems the likely candidate. Bravo Patti – you should be on Salem PD!
Paul is someone who would the least likely suspect to be the killer, which might be why he will be. Besides, once Will is dead, and Sonny leaves for good, I see no sl for Paul. Only thing might keep him interesting is if he has a successful reversal of his failed surgery and once again is allowed to play ball. Besides, anyone ever watch him on Hawaii 50 as Gabriel. Now there’s an assassin anyone woman would want to be held hostage by. Christopher is one hot villain on that show. LOL!
two different people. Maybe the framer is just taking advantage of an opportunity to get Chad in trouble without doing the dirty work himself.
I will be surprised, because the interview Corday gave said that the killer would be revealed to the audience in November, but the people of Salem would still be in the dark. I’m wondering, was that an out-and-out lie from Corday, which he has been known to do in his interviews, or will we actually know who the killer is on Thursday? Interesting, but I’m not so sure the spoiler is intended to mean someone who is in the show on Thursday will be the killer, but we will not see him committing another murder on Thursday. Guess I’ll pay close attention to Thursday’s cast.
Could it be Ben? He was really mad, hates Chad, knows Marlena is helping him and wasn’t home when Abby got there.
Ben would not be a shocker, for me anyway. Seems too obvious and I’m thinking his absence is just to throw us off.
eventually, but I don’t believe it will be either one of them. Ben has good reason to hate Chad. Glad to hear him go off on Abigail today, and the things he said to her, in front of Chad, were completely understandable to me.
