as a survivor of a double mastectomy and the dreaded chemotherapy myself, 31 years later(!), I sincerely appreciate what they are doing. The statistics are now one in eight women will at some time in their lifetime experience breast cancer, it is certainly a topic that will touch many.
Yes, the genetic testing is expensive but isn’t it worth it to know you have a high probability of contacting the disease. Some people say they wouldn’t want to know but, if nothing else, it would probably make one do their self-examinations and get regular mammograms, to detect it early IF they do get it.
