Li, Paulina & Trask

I know that Trask is out of a job. I get that. But can’t Trask go to Paulina & let her know that she had learned that Li illegally planted a bug in her office, & that she had heard his recording of her, explains to Paulina, if you give me my job back, I can go to a judge to get a search warrant for the recording that he has on me & I can use it against him by bringing up that his prints are on it, would show as to how he illegally had gotten it & use a B&E to take him down on?
