When they had played up the events as to when Paulina tried to tear down the Horton Square to put in her Price Town, they did show how that was about to happen, did it? Then when they played up Will’s death story, yes, they played it out in order for all of them to learn that Will was in fact still alive, but he was brought back to life with no memory of anyone, the reason as to why he was brought back from the dead was because the amount of backlash over it quadrupled the National Debt, so what makes anyone would think the Horton House fire is going to happen, no matter if it’s after the Christmas Season is over not, think about it, The Horton House set had been there for 59 years, can you imagine that amount of backlash this show would get in having this happen, it would have all of the backlash would have the National Debt be doubled 90 times over, so is it needed?
November 26, 2023 at 8:59 am #60506mommytutuParticipantI didn’t know they are planning to have a fire at the Horton House. That would be terribly sad. It is so central to Days, I can’t imagine no more Horton House.
November 26, 2023 at 3:28 pm #60508zodiacpisces1971ParticipantMy thoughts exactly, wouldn’t you think that once Price Town fell flat & was over in a millisecond, that they would put this in effect, it’s like loathing & despising the show’s legacy & history, wouldn’t you think?
November 28, 2023 at 7:49 am #60514mommytutuParticipantIt just doesn’t make sense to me. I could see destroy Horton Square, which has only been around for a decade or so, before destroying the Horton house. 😭😭😭
November 28, 2023 at 4:09 pm #60517zodiacpisces1971ParticipantBut the destruction of the Horton Square didn’t happen when Paulina pulled the plug on Price Town. Then this: I don’t know if it will happen or not, but they did put it out there that Days had been renewed for the 2024-2025 time frame, how exactly will they have the Horton Ornament hanging at the end of 2024 by having the fire taking place in early 2024?
November 29, 2023 at 8:28 am #60519mommytutuParticipantWell, we don’t know how much of the Horton House will be burned/destroyed. I also don’t know if this will happen after they hang the ornaments this year or before. I guess we will have to wait and see.
November 29, 2023 at 3:26 pm #60520zodiacpisces1971ParticipantSo I take it you’re saying that the fire might be miniscule & only burn a little of the residence, so they can still have the Christmas festivities for the end of 2024, right?
