The Christmas episode where the denouement had Tom Horton in a hospital bed & was surprised by his granddaughter, Julie who came in to show to everyone that she recently married Doug, what a shitty episode that was for December 22, 2023, if you excuse my profanity, with Justin’s son marrying a Horton, Ari, Justin, Sonny & Will should have been there, especially when in Julie’s memory of a past ornament hanging, we did see the mane of Freddie Smith’s Sonny, then this: When Doug first came on he was in prison with Bill Horton, Doug had brought up of what Constantine reminded him of, his younger self, meaning when he was Bill’s cell-mate, & he was about remember that, & look what happened, they scrapped his memory of that & yet they had shown Julie’s memory of showing to Tom that she recently married Doug overseas.
Don’t get your panties in a wad. There is still a Christmas episode to be seen. And I don’t need everyone to be on the show hanging ornaments for me to be satisfied. I would like to know why Stephanie gets an ornament? She is Steve and Kayla’s daughter, not a Horton. Why wasn’t Maggie’s granddaughter Holly included in the ornament hanging? Other than that, I loved the flashbacks, I always will. I was watching back in the day so it warms my heart.
But did they or did they not show Freddie Smith’s mane when Lucas had donated an amount of money to PFLAG in Sonny’s name, that was the memory that Julie had remembered, so with that shown in her memory, you allow Doug’s memory of his young self to be shown, given that it was Constantine that triggered it, am I right or wrong on this?
