What a way to treat your mother’s fiancé. Stare at him and don’t even offer to shake hands. It’s one thing to not approve of her choice (which in itself is totally ridiculous, she’s the one marrying him) but to be that rude is inexcusable. Hope should have taken him over her knee and spanked him like the spoiled brat he’s acting. Did he even stop to think how hurtful that was to her? Apparently not. I don’t care if he eventually accepts him or not, there was no reason for that display whatsoever. Don’t tell me they are going to ruin another character by making him nasty and surly.
but he should have been thinking of how much loss and pain and lonliness Hope has been going through for the past 2 years. Did he expect her to wait forever? When he said "and you’re no Bo Brady," I was hoping for a comeback from Hope, as well as Doug and Julie, much stronger than Hope running out in tears. Of course, we’ll find out soon that Shawn’s instincts were right about Aiden, but they weren’t at the time he uttered that somewhat harsh criticism toward Aiden and, by extension, to Hope as well.
Shawn had a lot of nerve in his actions and words. After all, he and Belle went on their way setting sale without regard to mom or dad. THey lived their lives and now he comes back to critize his mother for no waiting for Bo! I might have slpaeed his face instead of running away to cry!!
That is what annoys me. Now they are making Shawn the smart one and it will make Hopw again look foolish and in need of saving! I get thTPTB want Bo back but I wish they could have sritten a story that doesn’t make Hope look dumb and fagile.
especially after today, that Aiden REALLY does love Hope, but he feels he has no choice, since he believes that the DiMeras will go after Chase if he doesn’t come through. Too bad they way they had to write Aiden this way just to pacify the return of Bo. I hope they do a better job with John and Marlena!
he did apologize to Aiden. But yes, how would he explain his father not even corresponding with his children? That’s why this whole SL is anything but realistic with no one in the family even questioning that Bo might have been in a spot where he could not connect. It had to take his pal Patch (and finally Caroline) to have a lick of common sense.
I think he does but if he loves her as much as he says, how could he possibly think of killing her? He should come clean to Hope about the threat to Chase, then go to the police and then get the hell out of Dodge. I don’t believe the Dimara’s have a long enough arm to get him anywhere he goes. Nope, sorry, I just don’t buy it.
BTW, I thought Aiden pulled off the drunken scenes very well. They weren’t so over the top and ridiculous like so many of them portray. But boy, I certainly did feel the uncomfortableness at that bachelor party. It seemed like everybody wanted to be any place but there. But I WAS disappointed there was no stripper! :o)
And I though Hope’s party was so painfully put on that that one made me uncomfortable too. And poor Jen, nobody wanted to play her games. As for the stripper, I don’t think anyone that knew Hope would think she would enjoy that. It takes a certain type of person that a stripper is appropriate for. I’d hate it if anybody did that to me. And Caroline gave him $100!!!? Wow!
What I don’t buy is the idea that Andre needs money and that is why he wants Hope to die.
I get the ideas of killing someone to prove Chad had can’t be the killer, but why Hope? Stefano always had a soft spot for her. I think that this SL keeps getting more unbelievable.
I like Bonbon’s idea better.
