I knew when Ben came along he would make trouble. I just can’t believe he would have the nerve to kill people. He is a total jerk and a creep also. My opinion is: If and when he gets arrested, I feel like he should be sent to prison and be executed. I know that sounds bad, but he deserves it.

Other opinions: Justin, sure is acting like a jerk. The way he treated Chad when he woke up should have been better.

Kayla sure is a crab. Caroline should be at home in bed. She is a pain, thinking she is dreaming of Bo.
Marlena , I have never cared for her.

J.J. Sounds like a carbon copy of all his escapades. I guess that’s why I never cared for him and his lies.

I know these are strange comments, but I thought the storyline was the main objective and not comments about hair styles, what they, wear. and their poor grammar. And probably the weather.

I have no real idea but I think his demise should be more fittingly at the hands of Chad trying to save Abigail.
Caroline might be a pain but she is not just thinking she is dreaming of Bo but experiencing a real vision of his plight.
While the more “fluffy” comments ala wardrobe and hair are certainly not on par with characters and SLs, these are still part of the show. As long as they are pointed at the characters and not the actors.

Are there any storylines that you like? Any characters that make you want to watch?

This board always discusses many topics, like hair, wardrobe, sets, and music. All of these things are relevant as they pertain to the show.

The grammar or lack of it is irritating to some people. However, most don’t take it personal. Often times it is because people are trying to tpe while thinking and that can cause mistkes in grammar and spelling. No big deal.

The members are kind of a family so they sometimes discuss personal things are how SL affect their way of thinking. Since we are "friends", we discuss many things.

While our opinions don’t always match, we try to be respectful.  I feel that you are trying to cause controversy.

    Well said indeed :)

    And I totally agree…..

Bon drives me nuts but not I got nuttin but luv for Bon ;)    In all seriousness – if everyone agreed and liked the same things and just was ho hum about the show then this board would be SUPER boring.

Your response was spot on.   Ease up Shadow – if you hate it so much turn the TV and the Computer OFF :)

When you mentioned their poor grammar, I thought, at first, you meant the actors on the show.  I have noticed some bad grammar in the lines the actors speak.  Apparently the writers don’t know the difference.  I thought writers should be better than that.  They need the grammar police.  I can overlook any bad grammar here on the message board.

how everybody says “eye-ther” when most people pronounce it “ee-ther.” Especially Bo and Patch. They just don’t seem to be the type to pronounce it like that.

Another thing that isn’t really grammar but strange is when they are referring to an unborn baby, they seem to always say, “he or she,” or “him or her.” I think people usually say “it” or “they” or even “him.”

Must be in their Style Guide.

Most people are offended if you refer to their unborn child as "it".

I enjoy all opinions on here. But I think Shadow, what continues to stump me is what drives you to be a viewer? From my own experience if I were largely negative about the direction and characters of a program I would not invest time in watching. I’ve brought this up before but we’ve not yet heard your response. I’m truly interested in knowing what enjoyment you get from tuning in to a show you are mainly critical of. It has nothing to do with your right to make comments, but rather why you are invested.

and now it is not just critical of the show but critical of the comments made about the show by other posters. Only posts hopefully inflammatory comments and then wants to hide behind “It’s my right to post my opinions”. As my mother told me, just because you can doesn’t mean you should!

That is why I asked Shadow the questions I did. What SLs and characters does Shadow like? Why watch the show if you hate everything about it? That is why I feel she likes to stir the pot!

No answers except the right to comment!
