I hope they focus on some reality regarding Theo’s autism. It was good he did appear frantic with Joey but I hope the actor is up to it, because it will be a challenge.
Chase seems quite likable early on while Ciara definitely looks like Lauren might as a teen. I appreciated how Julie tied in her own wild youth w/her (btw, what would you call their relationship- step granddaughter and something else rather complicated?)
Speaking of Julie, she really was queen of the gala and wedding this past week. Like or hate her, she certainly can’t be ignored.

Ciara yet. Her acting is very wooden. I like Chase and Theo though.

I’ve taught several young autistic children and I think he plays the part well as an older autistic child. He’s cute too! I also think the new Chase is good, but we went from feisty Ciera to the most bland person ever. I also noticed she has blue or green eyes and the real Ciera had very dark eyes. I hope the sorased version of her improves.

if the casting people go more for physical resemblance in a case like Ciara’s. But early opinions often change as the actors settle into roles so it’s early yet.

portraying a teen with autism.  I’m sure he’s being written, and perhaps even coached, by Dena Higley.  In any case, I liked the portrayal yesterday, especially in his scenes with Joe Johnson.  Kyler pulled that off well, getting nervous and excited, thinking he did something wrong.  It was a little too contrived when he went for help that it was his sister, Lani, who came to help Joe, though.  Whatever, the teens are fine with me so far, and I’m glad Abe is getting a story to go along with Theo and Lani.  Nice work there writers.

I thought the actress playing Ciara was going to need some help with the role at first, but yesterday she was much better and more like the old Ciara, and I can see she is going to be a firecracker.  I really liked her scenes with Julie yesterday, and Julie telling her how much she reminder her of her own life when Julie was her age.   I also really liked the writing about the leather jacket and why it meant so much to Ciara, right down to the way it smelled because it reminded her of her dad.  Okay, I got a little teary-eyed there.

I think Joe’s illness is going to connect Kayla and Steve and put them in a new exciting sl where they will be working together, and I’ll be happy to watch that unfold, especially if it gets them back together again as a family, because Kayla was becoming a bit of a pain in the butt for me lately (LOL).  So I’m looking forward to a new and exciting sl here for the Johnson family.  Wonder if this will eventually bring Stephanie back at some point.

Chase I still think is short-term and will leave at some point, and Claire doesn’t come on board until later this month, but so far, so good for me.

I thought he looked like he could have been Will’s son, not Aiden’s.

    Have a child with autisim?

I thought the Theo kid and Joey kid did a great job – they are both adorable too.  I have no interest or investment in Chase and I think this Ciara blows (so far.)

I also think they missed a flashback opportunity with Julie stealing the mink – especially since that was episode 1 of DOOL.  Yes Yes it wasn’t Susan but still….. shame.

so I’m betting this is her sl to write.   The Julie stolen mink flashback of the first original Julie was supposed to be shown, but I assume they just couldn’t get it in time-wise!  Too bad!

to show that clip, but then remembered that was a different actress playing Julie. She really looked like Susan Seaforth Hayes, though, so maybe she could pass for her as a teen.
