I don’t know about everyone else but this takeover by Andre doesn’t sit well with me. Stef has been reduced to less than a paper tiger. Since when would he give the reins to anyone, even family, even given his latest health setback? When he learned about the Aiden debaucle it was barely a reaction. If Joe M is simply not up to more, then it is time to move on. Seeing the once great and feared, but love to hate villain as mere scenery dressing – combined with the wholly unlikable Andre taking over the throne – has left me cold.
Joe needs to retire. He couldn’t even convincingly deliver his few lines today. Thaao seemed to overcompensate for Joe’s poor delivery and it just made for awkward scenes.
to keep Stefano in the dark. That way he, and not Stefano, has complete control. Personally, I think if all goes his way, Andre will plan on taking Stefano out, and perhaps Chad as well, so he can take full control of the DiMera empire. If it turns out that E.J. DiMera is alive, I’m betting Andre doesn’t know it; that the only ones to do would be Stefano and Kristen, and that will be Stefano’s ace in the hole. Poor Sami…hope this wild goose chase winds up leading her to the golden egg the end.
