After reading spoilers on Days Cafe, it looks like Eric is going to have a drinking problem. I’m just speculating based on the spoiler, but I think Eric will have something to do with Daniel’s death and quite possibly his own, since it’s been said that it would be a double tragedy.
December 22, 2015 at 2:24 pm #50127justwonderingParticipantThe last few months have killed off more people than all 50 years. Each death diminishes the last one. Don’t they have any other way for characters to exit without death. In this day and age, people move all the time.
Daniel could get a fantastic offer to do cutting edge reseach at a far away hospital
Eric could decide that his calling has returned and he re enters the priesthood.
Will could have left to go to France to be with Sonny.
Paige could have gone to Stanford.
These writers have gone from spectactular to wash, rinse and repeat!!
December 22, 2015 at 2:43 pm #50129PattiParticipantfrom the beginning of the Daniel spoiler, coupled with the firing of GV. Too bad; I love both of these actors.
December 22, 2015 at 11:15 pm #50130bradysgmaParticipantSerena could have taken that job in Hawaii with or without Eric.

December 23, 2015 at 4:36 pm #50161BonbonParticipantThat way we won’t have to ever worry about her return. I wish they had done that to Ava so she couldn’t have come back. Hmmm, could we kill her off now?
BTW, if she fooled Kayla into believing she had leukemia, Kayla ought to be fired from her position in the hospital immediately and her doctor license permanently revoked. Heck, shut down the whole hospital if they confirmed it.
December 24, 2015 at 1:59 pm #50168mommytutuParticipantwith all you said.
December 25, 2015 at 2:53 am #50181powerpaw2ParticipantI guess we are to assume Ava got a sample of blood from someone who has leukemia and has been toting it around so it could be placed under the fake skin? Wouldn’t the sample have gone bad by the time she got around to using it? You would think the blood would have dried up since we saw no evidence of it being refrigerated.
December 25, 2015 at 3:16 pm #50189mommytutuParticipantI just had 7 or 8 tubes of blood drawn and because it’s nearly impossible to draw my blood, that was the concern. They got the first two tubes and then it took over half an hour to get the rest. I’m not sure the writers understand that blood will coagulate quickly.
December 25, 2015 at 5:36 pm #50194PattiParticipantTHIS IS A $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$: SO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK:
Eric gets to drinking too much (I think this will be on NYE), and sort of beligerant when he’s reminded of it, and decides to leave, whereupon Daniel tries to stop him, so he jumps in the car with Eric, but Eric takes off. The double tragedy we’ve been reading in the spoilers occurs when he has a head-on collision with none other than JENNIFER. Daniel winds up brain-dead and Jennifer winds up on life support, and Maggie decides to donate Daniel’s organs to Jennifer in order to save her life. WOW!!!!!
December 26, 2015 at 2:41 am #50197majencoParticipantGeez that’s a lot for Sami and Marlena and Maggie to handle in such a short period! Can anyone be happy ever in Salem???
December 26, 2015 at 2:29 pm #50199mommytutuParticipantHow convenient though that Daniel’s organs are a match for Jennifer. I’m actually dreading Nicole’s reaction. Ari is one of the best criers on Days and if anyone can make me bawl like a baby it’s her. I better get a large box of tissues ready.
December 27, 2015 at 12:40 am #50207jesigirl22ParticipantAgree with that. Blood does clot quickly. Plus, I thought that veins were closer to the elbow and a little deeper. You would think that the technician drawing the blood would think that it was too shallow at the puncture site.
One of the things that always bugs me is how they seem to draw blood without the use of a tourniquet. You can’t just stick a needle into the vein, or in this case, the arm, and have enough blood come out.
December 27, 2015 at 2:29 pm #50212mommytutuParticipantNo one has ever had blood drawn, lucky them!
December 27, 2015 at 3:55 pm #50216BonbonParticipantTubes that need to keep the blood from coagulating have an anti-coagulate in them. Look and you will see some whitish-colored substance at the bottom of the tube.
