Given the fact that Belle is largely brushing off her daughter (another case of absentee Salem moms) and Eve missing Paige, I wonder if Eve and Claire might draw closer – maybe to the detriment of Claire? Would Eve drift into some mental notion that Claire is Paige?
but keeping her mom and Philip apart and getting her dad back to Salem. The teen sls are soooo boring to me, so I was hoping Claire would get involved with Eve, opening Belle’s eyes that her daughter is turning to a substitute mom in Eve, but the way it looks to me now, Eve will simply quietly decide to leave Salem, since she’ll feel she has no reason to stay, i.e., no child, no man, not even her little sis or the Hortons to fight with anymore. Bye Eve!
when he reminded Eve that Claire was not Paige and that Eve may have been trying to replace Paige with Claire. Since we haven’t seen Eve take an interest in any other student, she’ll likely lose interest in heading the music program as well. The only reason she became so suddenly excited about it was because of Claire. Maybe she’ll at least find a replacement for the program’s director, since it was founded for and dedicated to Paige. Of course, that probably means we’ll never hear of it again. LOL!
