Does she have an ulterior motive for this whole Phil biz? What mother would choose to shoot off for a Vegas encounter with an old beau before choosing to spend time with her daughter who has clearly been affected by her parents’ split?
I keep hoping there is a method to her madness – or else she’s just gone mad.I really dont see any maternal instinct from Belle. Claire passed up a chance to audition for Julliard because she felt hermother needed her and yet her mom blows her off to go to Vegas with Phil.
