is the show kind of lagging right now? I always love Theo even with Ciara, but the rest? Lani has been aggressive since day one and the writers have left poor Shawn out to dry. I’m tired of Andre and Hope w/this lingering Dimera stuff. Belle and Phil ho hum. Theresa and Brady – not much there. I like Chad and Abby but this is headed down a disturbing path and KM leaving soon isn’t good.
I do miss Nicole in a major SL but I have to believe that will change.
All in all, I find myself fidgeting a lot through the show right now.
We’re less than ten days from "Sweeps" and I can’t see any improvement. Even the Abby/Chad situation has gotten boring for me. Woman, get thee to Doc Evans. As far as today is concerned, totally boring, beginning to end for me. Then, again, I knew it would be as soon as they opened up with Claire singing. The girl makes my ears bleed! lol!
I saw the first few minutes of the show, up until where Rafe was sitting in the square, then I had to leave. I was wondering if I should bother watching the rest. Thanks for saving me some time!
I agree with what you said about Claire’s singing. In days past when she would sing I didn’t think she was all that bad, but Monday’s show was painful.
I never thought from the very first song she sang that she was somebody I wanted to hear more from but yesterday…OMG, it even made my dog howl! (Not really but he should have.)
I can’t stand the way she drags out words, like ti-i-i-me and lo-o-o-ve. And can’t she pronounce “I”? It always comes out as “ah.” Nope, sorry, no more of that caterwauling for me. If Philip is basing the success of his new label on her, he’s gonna be in deep doo-doo.
that particular style of singing and you hear it quite a bit today. It does nothing for me and as far as I am concerned none of the people who practice that vocal style sound very talented.
all of her songs sound alike, no matter the tempo. That tells me it’s her voice, which is weak and shaky, and that she has no clue how to sing from her diaphragm. Just, ugh! Beautiful girl though!
