it’s just sad that every sl can’t be as interesting as Abigail’s meltdown. Those scenes today at the sanitarium with Chad trying to get Abby to see how desperately she needs to be there brought out the waterworks for me today. Billy Flynn is just so damn good, not to mention Kate Mansi. This sl is heartwrenching, and her dream of Ben being there today certainly should convince her, at some point, that she is exactly where she needs to be. Whoever is responsible for writing today’s show did an exceptional job, and the acting was wonderful. Chad and Abby really did pull on my heartstrings today.
I was complaining about the tedious Days of late today snapped out of it if only for a moment. KM and BF were hands down outstanding. I truly felt Abby’s pain and desperation and Chad’s heartbreak. Both these actors well deserve Emmy nods and any other accolades. And how bout little Thomas? A real cutie!
It looked like there was someone behind the curtain and Abby was bothered by the sounds at the beginning of the show. With Chad’s momey, couldn’t he have gotten a private room?
how they went back through what happened. So creative. Why can they not be this creative in other areas of the show? lol
On a side note, I have been in Chads situation and I cried as hard as he did today just watching that, remembering how utterly broken you feel having to leave your loved one there. It’s gutting.
PS: Abby would never be allowed to keep her rings there.
Makes you MORE mad right? Like how come you guys only get it right 10% of the time. CLearly they are capable. Side note – not only is it bizare that Abby didn’t have a private room (as already stated) but there is NO WAY they’d let her keep her engagement ring on (imagine the damage it could do.)
I lost it too. I just broke my heart how badly he was hurting and he portrayed it so well. Yes, I can’t imagine these two not getting an Emmy nod. They have been exceptional…not just in a couple of scenes but throughout this entire storyline. I don’t know when I can say when any other pair on this show has given the performance these two have been delivering. Kudos to both. Oh how I hate to see Abby leave.
I was skeptical because I really liked Casey, but now I can’t imagine anyone playing Chad besides Billy. He and Kate have been nothing short of spectacular. TPTB should have found a way to keep her. I didn’t get to watch Tuesday’s show until today, and my heart broke for both of them.
