I questioned this recently whether Days was trending toward a one episode devoted to one SL and this is the 3rd or 4th time now? I don’t dislike it and it may be a chance for better scripts if the writers can concentrate on one story and get on a roll with it. I did enjoy Hope’s dream today and was reminded how much I liked Bo/Hope in their heyday, before Zack’s death when it all unraveled. The writers seem to be using this formula to wrap up a SL and move a character on. Ala Hope’s funk over the Stef killing. I certainly hope her new outlook doesn’t backslide with Aiden.
Is this the last time we see Peter Reckell? Cool seeing Larry and the young man playing Zack did a nice job. It will be interesting to see how Hope reacts once it hits the fan between Ciara and Chad (which I hate, but it’s going to happen). BTW, I like Billy’s haircut.
I freaked when Zack appeared. Just bawling. I really loved this episode!!! What a great job by everyone.
or this epi was filmed before he left, but I would imagine it probably is the last time we will see him, unless it is through flashbacks. There’s always the possibility that more was filmed and was held back for now, but I doubt it. In any event, Peter was explicit that he does not want to return to acting, and instead spend quality time with his family, and I have nothing but best wishes to him for that decision.
Because we had terrible storms pass through and then we had no power or cable all day.
But what I did see really bugged me. Correct me if I’m wrong, but last I saw she was telling Bo that her and Aiden really loved each other. HOW can Hope even be considering Aiden at all after his son RAPED her daughter?!? If she is considering a relationship with him I have zero respect for her as a person and mother.
But the waterworks really started when they played "Tonight." I couldn’t hold ’em back.
Since they brought Larry back I was wondering who else was coming…Patrick? She was pretty serious about him.
She couldn’t have Aiden without Chase, and how could she have Chase anywhere around Ciera? Hope should leave Aiden out of the picture without thinking twice about it.
I absolutely LOVED yesterday’s (wed.) show. LOVED Larry, Bo, Zack and Stephano. Everything about it was great IMO, bawled all the way through it. It amazes me how this show can be so good one day…Hopes story…and the next day..this stupid story with Kate…be so horrid..
They need to pull their crap together…just sayin..
…and the one featuring Jennifer were both innovative and wonderfully written. Character-centric seems to be a new trick for DOOL and it works! I think we are beginning to see the work of the “new” writers and maybe…hopefully…some of this crap (Kate/Deimos, Summer/Maggie, and others are just the dregs left over from the previous regime. I really want John to get his a$$ back home and start up that detective agency – that would really be a fun office! Use Ciera or Claire as their Girl Friday…they’ve already got a shrink (Marlena) available for profiling a la Criminal Minds. Let Shawn, if he’s staying, get away from Lani and go into the agency with them. JJ could be their link to the PD. (I’m thinking back to the old Edge of Night that was a film noir type of soap with definite good guys and bad guys. )
I cried my way thru the epi and feel that it gave bo and hope the closure that their love story needed. I have watched them since we were all young and the way they rushed his return and reconciliation and diagnosis and death with hardly a funeral didn’t feel right. No matter what the behind the scene politics and personal relationships are. They were my magic at a time when I was surrounded by my babies and real life had more diapers than magic
