I don’t want to just bash the show but lately there are so few characters I enjoy and even some old favorites have been ruined. Let’s go down the list…
Jennifer- Used to be my favorite character but with the exception of that one drug episode, she has been ruined for me. A horrible whining shrew enabling her children and attacking Chad. I just want her to get a damn life of her own and loosen up. I would even be okay if she relapsed and really got down and dirty for a while. Maybe have an affair with Rory for drugs! Anything to make her interesting.
Kayla and Steve- used to be my favorite couple. Lately it’s one excuse after another to keep them apart. It’s boring and I hate Joey. He’s a snooze. They need an injection of fun an adventure in their relationship. Get going with Black Patch or whatever. Stop making Kayla so wishy washy.
Hope- I miss Bo but I am all for Rope, get going with it already!
Theresa and Brady- Hate her guts. Brady is the dumbest guy in Salem. Nicole- want a great storyline for her without Deimos!
Maggie and Victor-My favorite couple! Looks like trouble ahead. I hope they can hold it together.
John and Marlena- get them married already!
Chad- love the actor, he is capable of taking shit writing and making it work. Please keep him away from horrible Ciara!
Claire-I am in the minority’s but I like her and her singing.
Theo- I like him a lot
Andre- a cartoon. I am bored.
You’ve said everything I think about these characters. Just want to add, what purpose does Aiden serve? He’s useless.
What a pathetic human being. For some reason the Days brass thinks this pair is entertaining – NOT!
While we’re on the subject Joey and Jade can exit too. Remember when Shawn and Belle were that age and they were actually a cute and fun couple? Is there any lightness to the teen set??I used to like him but now I can’t stand to look at him. Not only is he disgusting but he’s pathetic too. I don’t believe a word that comes out of his mouth or a contrite look on his face. Push him off the top floor of the hospital.
Days used to have a couple of characters we loved to hate but not it seems they are the majority. They’ve got the villilans and now they are destroying the characters we used to love and respect. There is NOBODY left to like…well, Rafe maybe.
just when Rafe was telling Adriana that he had no interest in Blanca whatsoever, and she should stop trying to think he ever would. Made my day. At least she took the hint and is moving out.
‘Una Paloma Blanca.? I think of the same thing. Maybe because I really like that song. Perfectly understandable.
Ximena Duque (Blanca) reminds me of an actress named Marie Gomez, who made occasional appearances on NBC’s The High Chaparral (1967-1971) as a character named Perlita.
