Apparently “Deimos” means “terror” in Greek.

It is also a name of a minor Greek god, and one of the moons of Mars.
It was a question on Jeopardy today.
(the moon part)

my roomate and I were known as the moons Deimos and Phobos – kind of funny I saw that on Jeopardy too! (not that we were terrors by any stretch)
