I didn’t expect this show to become dumber under the new writing regime. But that scene today with Roman was about as inane as it gets. And that no one is even thinking of an imposter is unbelievable. The way I see it Days is taking its stalwart regulars and making fools out of them.
but I have to admit I am so tired of some of these storylines. This imposter storyline, turning Lucas back to the bottle in the blink of an eye, Roman not being able to realize that Marlena would never act like that, it all leaves me a bit cold.
and I am REALLLLLLYYY SOOOOOOO TIRED of Brady and his insecurities and jealousy and anger. It’s time for him to grow up. He is way too old a man to behave like such a teenager every time he is involved. And the fact that Nicole didn’t let him have it for sneaking into Eric’s room and trashing it is just beyond me. I get it, Brady is always getting hurt but could that be the result of his petty childish behavior and NEED to be in love? Frankly I’m tired of watching it.
My other current peeve is this Deimos thing. How many people are going to plead guilty only to have recalled memories before the cops realize that nobody is going to be able to remember exactly what happened that night? It hardly seems like a case that could be prosectued unless the killer turns out to be someone who wasn’t drugged but since everyone seemed to be under the influence of Halo I’m gonna say you might not be able to get 12 people to agree on murder charges without some damn fine piece of physical evidence (aside from that stupid amulet which hardly seems to be worth the trouble).
I FF through any scene with Hattie or Bonnie. I’ll just be happy when the show moves on to something worth watching. I’m just not holding my breath for that to happen any time soon.
when Days murder or other mysteries were credible and kept you on the edge of your seat. But coming up with another would be killer every day is not a good solid SL. It gets ridiculous and comes across to me as pretty inept writing. Where’s the beef on this show?
I have probably not watched since Nicole confessed to Brady that she kissed Eric under the influence of that drug. I think that was a month ago. I record the shows, but after reading this board daily for commentary, I must confess, I’m just not interested. I’m very sad too, because this used to be a show I looked forward to. I never thought I’d quit watching, but the stories have not gotten better, it seems.
I have no interest in impostors, no interest in Lucas being an alcoholic, or Brady acting like 16 year old boy. Is there anything worth watching?
could have beem planted in Eric’s room to be discovered as evidence. Maybe Victor had something to do with it because he wanted Eric to receive more punishment for killing Daniel since he was released from prison early.
or the actors, or the sls themselves is credible at this time. Instead of Carlivati bringing the vets into the limelight, it looks to me like he’s making damn fools of all of them, and perhaps giving the networks a reason to cancel this show. I have not seen so many complaints about DOOL as I have recently, and it’s all due to these current sls and the actors who portray the characters we would normally love to see. Damn shame, if this puts the idea in some big wig’s head to cancel this show due to the constant fall in ratings, with no end or relief in sight.
I know you love them, Carlivati, but enough with the doppleganger sls. Not even remotely entertaining for this fan, although I’m quite sure you’re not done with them yet, since it’s one of your staples for storytelling. Is Will going to be one, or how about Kristen, or Stefano for another???? Seriously, for crap sake, enough already!!!
