    I just read on Days Cafe that she will come back at Christmas with Holly. Does anyone know if this is just a one time shot with AZ or are they going to re-cast Nicole and this is permanent?

    this mean? That Nicole leaves shortly and then returns? Will this be to just tie up a SL? I hadn’t heard Ari had changed her mind on leaving Days.

     Actress said she would be on set for HER daughter to appear on Christmas episode

    Some actors cannot be replaced and she’s definitely one of them.

    It wasn’t that many years ago when, if an actor moved on or died, another actor would take the part. In time the new actor grew into the character and most fans were fine with it. Why should an actor who just wants a change end a popular character? I’m sure Ari wouldn’t want that.

    can you all imagine if they brought back Casey Diedrick to play Chad?  I don’t think it would work at all

    but Ari is just so darned good – such a standout for me with her combo of toughness and vulnerability – I can’t imagine a replacement. Same with Ali Sweeny – I’m not al huge Sami fan but can’t fathom another actress capturing this character.
