I said I suspected Abigail was under some sort of mind control and spoilers say Chad suspects the same. I think this might be where Vivian has something to do with André’s murder.
I am wondering how long it will take to reveal the multiple personalities so that everyone knows. I’m ready for this story line to be over
I so hate Stefan and Vivian can go as well. I don’t enjoy either of these characters. I keep hoping we find out that Stefan isn’t related to Stefano and that the hair used in the DNA was actually Andre’s since he was scheming with Vivian and Stefan.
but I’ve hated this storyline from it’s very beginning (even though I love Tyler Christopher). It just makes no sense to me. Where has this guy been all of Stefano’s life, or Vivian’s for that matter, and what excitment does it bring to the DiMera clan? Nothing for this fan, but then neither does Abigail for me, and now with this DID sl, I just find her twice as annoying. Sorry, I know lots of fans love Marci as Abigail Devereaux DiMera….really wish I could feel the love (sigh). Shame on me, I guess, but I really loved Chad with Gabi….still do.
for all that the writing staff has improved the SL pace, this one is now dragging. I think the brass loves this multiple personality stuff and doesn’t want it to end. Marci however is doing a nice job with it. The character I’m not thrilled with is Gabbi; everything is so hyper and over the top with her and she always seems so needy with men.
I had forgotten about the hair and DNA test they did when Vivian and Stefan first came to town. It WAS Andre, wasn’t it, who went with the test to make sure it was done correctly, right?
Kate and Chad both wanted to go, but Andre said he’d go instead. I think they used Andre’s hair, not Stefan’s.
For anyone interested in DID (Abigail’s mental disorder), Turner Classic Movies is airing The Three Faces Of Eve (1957) about this subject on Sunday, May 6 at 4:15pm (EDT). Joanne Woodward won the Academy Award for Best Actress, making her the first actress to win an Oscar for portraying three different personalities (Eve White, Eve Black, and Jane).
is what makes this board interesting for me. I agree on Stef who has just been thrown into the mix with no history. And I have never found the character anything but dragging and something of a bore. I believe the actor is a victim of this and he could have been so much more entertaining with some fire and scheming ala both parents.
As for Marci/Abigail, was lukewarm at first but I thought she was totally up to the 3 personality bit. I could have liked Chad with Gabi if only I liked Gabi better. She is too up on her high horse defensive for my liking.
