I just read that there’s going to be a murder, I’m hoping Stefan. However, Days Cafe is say bye to Steve! Tell me this isn’t true!

I wonder if they’ll write it so that he has to go away to get his eye transplant, like they did Theo’s re-had in South Africa. I just want the door to still be open for him to come back.

Leo is dead. Sonny protects Will when Leo tries to strangle him. He hits Leo, who falls hitting his head killing him instantly. That is quite a strech IMO. They try to get rid of the body resulting in issues.
but I assume it becomes a murder when they did not inform the police, and then conspired to conceal the body!
Regarding Leo, I am thinking his body was in the car when it went missing….
Perhaps he is not as dead as he appeared….
I can just see him saying, "Reports of my death have been greatly exegerated."

Twitter. Does the post reveal the “why” over this move? Why would Days want to fire a beloved character? Salary maybe?
it’s still not clear. Apparently SN brought up that Patch and Kayla should have been getting more SL. And it seems he was in negotiations so maybe Days just got ticked off by his remarks. Though given the number of cast members coming and going it shouldn’t be surprising.
I have to believe if Days continues he will return at some point. Fans are not happy.Casey,

For me, DOOL is home and I want to be there… I love the people, I love Stephen Earl Johnson and I love what Mary Beth and I have been able to create together. I was excited to see what this new team would bring for us and for all of Salem. I’ve been in this business long enough to understand the rotation of stories, and I get that we can’t always be at the forefront. And despite my disappointment in the lack of story this past year, I’ve always worked hard and we’ve always tried to find the moments in whatever we’ve been given. I think we did that. Whenever I see a scene or montage you guys post, | am so touched and I remember just how much story we told for so many years and how rich it was. I’m so grateful for that. And I know that there are still years of Steve and Kayla’s story left to be told. I hope we get to tell that story. Your unwavering support tells me you hope that too.
