I feel like I missed something! It’s like when Nicole went upstairs with Roman and didn’t return for years. So that’s it, he’s gone??
He’s at the hospital comforting John one minute and the next minute Roman says the Feds came and arrested him. If that’s how Days gets rid of Steve, that’s horrible! Fans new he was leaving, but what the heck? That’s not how you have a major character leave!
no indication on screen what actually happened to this marvelous actor, just a supposition that he’s gone because that joke of a "bionic" eye revealed or disclosed all information it took in, and now we are to believe that because he is/was/still is ISA connected, this extremely bad writing staff wants us to believe that the ISA has labeled him as a "traitor" when actually he has no knowledge that this is even happening. He also knows that his beloved wife made a deal with the devil, Stefan DiMera, who told her if she did not play ball, he would/could push a button and turn her husband back into a blind man forever. OMG STOP, PLEASE. Send Carlivati packing before he sends DOOL packing!
Really a terrible way to write off a veteran character. I guess that’s what happens when the actor is blindsided and let go suddenly. Even if there were negotiation issues, how can they treat someone that way who has been with the show for so many years?? Decades!! Just awful.
because we just found out he was leaving he’d be on screen for a few months more. To not even have a decent farewell for a major and long beloved character is a tragic and shameful misfire by this entire staff.
Kayla said she wanted to talk to him after Marlena was stable. She was looking all over for him when Roman came and told her he was arrested. He doesn’t know that she made a deal with the devil.
with Stefan, but he certainly has been suspicious that she’s hiding something big from him, but I do believe he suspects Stefan is involved with some sort of blackmailing of Kayla. That’s pretty obvious to me by Stefan showing up in Kayla’s office when Steve is there, or him tracking Kayla down when she and Steve are out in public, and by Kayla throwing shade or sly comments Stefan’s way but without letting on to Steve why, so yes, in a way he doesn’t know the exact truth but he certainly knows Kayla is lying to him about something big and that Stefan has something to do with it. I guess this will be just another never-ending storyline. Shame on writers when they can’t seem to do their job by bringing a good storyline to a conclusion, especially when it involves two extremely popular characters like Steve and Kayla Johnson.
