Why doesn’t Eli just ask Kayla for a sample of Haley’s handwriting? Also, go to the bakery from where the macarons (NOT macaroons) were purchased to see if Haley came in to get them or ordered by phone.

That was the most horrible scene ever. I wonder how the actor held it together. I would have been cracking up. When he showed Haley the note, I was thinking how about checking the handwriting! Also, why would someone purposely try to off Marlena and leave a note that could be traced back to her? Eli is an idiot. I keep trying to figure out how he ever worked for the FBI.
