Curses – Foiled Again! If only for a couple “touch” passes by Allen the Bills could have taken this game. But really it was our normally stout defense that let down and allowed some 400 yards to the Pats. I just hope they got their bad performance out of their system before playoffs start. Screens really killed them. But I continue to be encouraged by young Josh Once he gets consistency in his game, watch out!
BTW, I think Brady and the Pats’ demise is premature!December 23, 2019 at 1:37 pm #56733powerpaw2ParticipantGeez, how could they have missed such a blatant infraction? The good thing is you’re in the playoffs. I do think the Patriots have slowed down a bit and I do not see them going to the Super Bowl.
Patti, the Ravens continue to cruise along. The general consensus among my friends is Lamar will be leading them to a championship.
The Jags/Falcons game was eerily similar to the Jags/Raiders game last Sunday. Unfortunately the QB was Matt Ryan instead of Carr. I still say Gardner Minshew can develop into a really good QB if he gets a decent o-line. The defense I thought would be so dominant was been anything but. Starting with Telvin taking a powder before the season kicked off, it’s been downhill. I think part of it is the scheme and Todd Wash needs to be replaced with another DC. No matter what, it’s Duval Til We Die and I’ll be at the final game when the Colts come to town.
It will be a tough game tonight for the Pack at Minnesota. We’ll see which Packers defense shows up. Dalvin Cook is out, so that will be of some help. Hopefully Aaron and company will have a bye week for the playoffs.
December 23, 2019 at 3:14 pm #56734caseyParticipantThe league is transferring 7 games to the late slot on Sunday and of course the Seahawks/9rs one to Sunday night. That should be a beauty with the title on the line.
I just can’t see anyone stopping L Jackson. Even a spy won’t work. I think only Lamar can stop Lamar if he has an off day. Hey Duval, your Jets won!
iDecember 24, 2019 at 12:58 pm #56737powerpaw2ParticipantI’ll credit them with the win last night as Aaron was off (I’ve been saying he’s not himself this year) and they repelled and/or minimized scoring opportunities caused by multiple turnovers. Za’darius Smith was an absolute beast last night, almost living in the Vikes’ backfield.

December 25, 2019 at 3:11 am #56739PattiParticipantthe game with the Steelers, with RGIII starting instead. I’m betting Lamar will be like a cat on a hot tin roof on those sidelines, but he said he’ll do what’s best according to the coaches and for the team, but his love of the game may show his disappointment. RG knows he has to go out there and execute in order to prove to himself and to the team that he’s ready to be a starter again, although that may not be with the Ravens unless Lamar gets an injury that won’t allow him to play. He’ll also be playing without some of Baltimore’s top weapons, such as running back Mark Ingram and guard Marshall Yanda, who will also be rested. With the Steelers having the league’s No. 4-ranked defense, Griffin certainly has his work cut out for him on Sunday. The Steelers are fighting for their playoff lives, and they’ll be bringing everything they have in this final game. Now it’s time to see what Griffin can do with a full workload and a game plan tailored for him instead of for Lamar. If things go his way, it could turn out to be a great opportunity for him. So fingers crossed for him and the Ravens on Sunday!!!
December 25, 2019 at 3:21 pm #56740caseyParticipantfor all starters here to play at least for a brief time. I pray no one gets hurt!!
