Oh, why do I even watch. It’s so disgusting that Days NEVER gets anything…NEVER! ! ! !
But some comments… James Scott (EJ) Oo-lah-lah. Peter Rickel (Bo) looked about 10 years younger. I don’t know what he did but he sure looked great. And Louise Sorrel (Vivian) looked very nice and performed well. What an odd couple to select to present an award. Maybe they were the only ones willing to go to Las Vegas.
I was so sad Arianne Zucker (Nicole) didn’t win Best Supporting Actress but at least Julie Pincon (former Billie) did. I’ve always liked her, even though she didn’t win it for Days. And she was cute when she added how much she loved her husband, Billy Warlock (Frankie).
June 28, 2010 at 12:05 pm #14067SWParticipantoh well. So Days got robbed again? I guess I shouldn’t be surprised since they have the smallest voting group. The other networks support their own. Days has only one show to compete against 3 on the other networks.

June 28, 2010 at 1:47 pm #14076BonbonParticipantI thought the tribute they did to Dick Clark was excellent, and very befitting.
June 28, 2010 at 2:47 pm #1408053tdogsParticipantis did Frances get some sort of tribute or mention? Life time acheivement award? Anything?
June 28, 2010 at 4:37 pm #14082DPParticipantor to any other day time star who passed in the last year.
I was not impressed with the show. They had several Vegas acts (ie Lion King, Blue Man Group, David Copperfield) worked in to the show, but, in my opinion, they weren’t a good fit with the Daytime Emmys as these acts/performers had nothing to do with daytime tv.
The best part of the show was the lifetime achievement award given to Dick Clark. The tributes by Marie Osmond, Chubby Checker, etc were well done, the video messages from others (Cher looked bizarre at best!), were just beautiful and brought Dick Clark to tears. It was very well done.
June 28, 2010 at 7:18 pm #14084SWParticipantI thought he only did night time shows? Why do they not get that daytime people want to see the daytime performers?! Next thing they’ll be acknowledging the sports’ players during the daytime emmys! grrrrr Isn’t it bad enough they interrupt the soaps for ‘sports’?
June 28, 2010 at 7:29 pm #14086DeeLanParticipantNot sure but were the daytime emmy’s a Dick Clark Production and he does produce a lot of shows on daytime as well as night time.
June 28, 2010 at 8:59 pm #14088CJParticipantBandstand was a daytime show. Came on right after school when I was growing up. And I believe Dick Clark was a game show host at one time. I thought the tribute was very good.
June 28, 2010 at 11:46 pm #14091kayParticipantFor the most part was kind of boring, but even though Julie Pinson won I wanted Ari to win because she was the only one I’ve enjoyed in the Sydnapping s/l. Quite frankly I was surprised any of the other Days acting nominees were there at all.
June 29, 2010 at 1:54 am #14092kayParticipantI didn’t understand why the other nominees were nominated at all.
June 29, 2010 at 7:24 pm #14110GrockieParticipantthe Emmys had a Lifetime Achievement Award segment, which included Frances Reid and John Clarke.
