Peter Reckell and Louse Sorel interview on the red carpet before the daytime emmy’s.

Either the interviewer is not very adept at getting comments containing more than one word or Peter and Louise don’t have anything to say…which I doubt. I felt uncomfortable for all three of them. I’d give the whole thing a D-.
But, on a positive note…didn’t Louise look fabulous? On Days she always looks so ‘pinched’ and unattractive, but, and I noticed this during The Emmys too, she looked soft and, should I say, ‘normal’? Peter was lookin’ pretty hot too. As I said in a previous post, he looked 10 years younger.

They did both look great though!

I loved what she had to say about Frances Reid – and found it interesting that they didn’t work together on-screen but had a friendship off-screen.
June 30, 2010 at 3:07 pm #14127PattiParticipantthey didn’t even get the "Best Hair" Emmy this year …. nadda; zip; zilch; but Peter and Louise were wonderful as presenters. An odd couple, for sure, but both looked fabulous. The shows that have gone off the air (GL) or are going off the air (ATWT) seem to have been this year’s favorites as far as the industry itself goes; however, the DOOL actors and actresses outshine all of these people, IMHO. Oh, well, what do they know ….. even the best actor Emmy, the category James was nominated in, went to some uninteresting guy from ATWT, the next soap leaving in September. And don’t even get me started on Ari Z.’s being overlooked …. again! The woman runs circles around, over and under any actress nominated in any category. Too bad she didn’t win, but I do like Julie Pinson, just not as Billie Reed.
June 30, 2010 at 5:46 pm #14130BonbonParticipantOr was that just tongue-in-cheek? It’s SOD that gives out all those miscellaneous awards. If the Emmys did that, we’d still be sitting in front of our TVs waiting for best show.
"The next award is for Best Looking Sandwich Prepared by a Cast Member."
"And the award goes to…Maggie Horton!"
"Stay tuned because after the break, Kristian Alfonzo and Melissa Reeves will present the Most Cups of Tea Served In One Episode award."
June 30, 2010 at 8:34 pm #14133PattiParticipantbest hairdos, but it’s one of those senseless, unimportant awards that’s given off-screen, like lighting or set design. There are a bunch of insignificant ‘who gives a flying …..’ awards that are given out at the Emmys, Oscars, and the like; but they’re not given out on stage; you simply read about them in rag mags or places like that.
