Stefano is arrested for attacking Sami, after he’s confronted by Sami/EJ/Rafe/Brady
Salem holds a candlelight vigil for the safe return of Sydney.
A Christmas miracle for Sami?
Nathan reads the Christmas story this year.
The traditional hanging of the ornaments on the tree at Alice’s house(but no Frances Reid alas, Doug, Julie, Maggie to represent the older generation).
December 10, 2009 at 12:34 am #8256DeeLanParticipantIf they’re going to show the ornament hanging at Alice’s that means they still have the set. Since Francis Reed probably won’t be coming back due to health issues why couldn’t they have a story where she had to go to an assisted living facility or to live with other relatives due to age and failing health. Then have one of the younger family members move into and take over the house. Nathan perhaps. Have Shawn and Belle come back and live there. David Banning or Mike Horton come back. Nick gets out of prison and moves in there. Once Bo finally kicks Hope to the curb for good she could move in there.
OH the possiblities.

The Brady/Horton neighbors was a good tie-in to interconnecting the families and surely could be reconstructed again. Yeah, there’s lots of possibilities !
December 10, 2009 at 8:39 pm #8286DeeLanParticipantRight and didn’t Jennifer and Jack live right in that same area also if not the other side of Alice?
I miss the days on Soaps when people visited each other in their homes. At the Hortons you had the living room and kitchen sets. Same for Bo and Hopes. On Another World there would be the Cory mansion, The Matthews’ the Frame/Hudson farm. The Love estate. Then there was Leona and whatever her husband was. They didn’t all meet in community places such as parks, restaurants and river fronts. It was more of a loving communty, family atmosphere.
December 11, 2009 at 12:16 pm #8303June66watcherParticipantDid you notice how, in Cleveland, the meeting place outside the hospital was a simple ‘touch up’ to the pier in Salem? The brick wall & window was refreshing, but the "L" shaped stairs was a dead give-away of the recycled scenary.
December 11, 2009 at 12:34 pm #8307BonbonParticipantI think there are probably more than you think. I counted them up once a long time ago and was amazed at just how many there are. Although, if you’d visit some of the TV shows sets, you’d be awed at how small they really are. Okay, let’s see how many we can name.
Victor’s mansion; Stefano’s mansion, ; Bo and Hope’s living room and kitchen; The Java Cafe; The Cheatin’ Heart; several hospital sets; the Carver’s living room; several different dock sets; The Pub (including Arianna’s bedroom and the entrance); A couple of rooms at the Cop Shop; jail cell; church; Maggie’s kitchen; ‘Sami’s’ townhouse; the park /cemetery; St. Luke’s church; inside of Victor’s/Stefano’s plane; and the various temporary sets they need to accomodate the current storyline, i.e. bus station, restaurant; and the hospital chapel. What did I miss?
December 11, 2009 at 12:50 pm #8310June66watcherParticipantBo & Hope’s bedroom and Abe & Lexie’s bedroom, Zach’s old bedroom (I supposed now Ciara’s); Maggie’s restaurant (which has been pretty quiet since Marlena & John left)
December 11, 2009 at 6:23 pm #832153tdogsParticipantThink you got all of them! Good job! I hope we see Mrs. Horton’s living room with the Christmas tree!
December 14, 2009 at 2:41 am #8410ErinParticipantLucas’ apartment
December 14, 2009 at 2:43 am #8411ErinParticipantand the Horton cabin. I’m sure they will start using it again now that he is back in town.
