I thought it was really cute. A little short and maybe a little too young for her but very creative and ‘girly.’ I like how they paired the basic ‘undershirt’ with the ruffly flowers. I think I’m going to try and make a shirt like that. I don’t necessarily want the skirt but the top would work very well here in Florida.
BTW, did you notice that Sami and Hope have the same earrings on again?
August 3, 2010 at 2:11 pm #15103PattiParticipantIt certainly showed off Ali’s fantastic figure, though, but I just didn’t like the outfit for Sami. Molly, maybe, but not Sami, for me anyway. JMO.
August 3, 2010 at 2:28 pm #15104MKParticipantI have a dress similar style. Just a regular tank- top-like shirt in pink with a black ruffly skirt part. I did not think it was a good look for her though. It was not right for her body. Even though it was a girly outfit, she somehow looked cheap, in my opinion.
August 3, 2010 at 5:06 pm #15118DCola522ParticipantIt wasn’t like the usual outfits Sami wears, but I absolutely loved it! So cute on her!!
August 3, 2010 at 7:57 pm #15120caseyParticipantcould it be shorter? I don’t mind short but this to me looked ridiculous. She tends to go micro mini which doesn’t always look flattering.
August 3, 2010 at 8:10 pm #15122PattiParticipantJust another way this show has of exploiting Nadia, IMO.
August 3, 2010 at 9:32 pm #15128majencoParticipantI thought the skirt was cute but the top was a bit too "crafty" looking to me as if it was made on a bedazzler or something. I also don’t think it was flattering to Sami’s figure.
August 4, 2010 at 2:34 pm #15145PattiParticipantI thought Nicole’s outfit was also extremely short. Maybe this is the new trend. I noticed a couple of other hemlines on other soaps that have returned to mini or micro-mini. I see nothing attractive about that hemline. First of all, it’s nearly impossible to sit; the skirts are almost too tight to walk; and I find the look trashy on anyone over the age of 12.
August 4, 2010 at 5:23 pm #1514753tdogsParticipantThe idea that skirt lengths are a predictor of the market direction. According to the theory, if skirts are short, it means the markets are going up. And if skirt are long, it means the markets are heading down. Maybe just maybe Days may be an indicator of the economy getting better….Naaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh…
August 4, 2010 at 6:46 pm #15149luckeyParticipantSami in that outfit, I’ve seen similar outfits on women on various TV shows. All of them were worn by younger females, mostly in their late teens or early twenties. For me, it was cute, but too young for her.
August 4, 2010 at 8:25 pm #15151majencoParticipantI thought Nadia’s dress was ugly. Wayyyy too short. When she sat on the sofa you practically got an upskirt shot. Who would wear that in or out of the house?
August 4, 2010 at 10:28 pm #15163macrrParticipantI’ll have to go watch the episode to check out all of the fashion comments today. Regarding short skirts, however, I used to LOVE to wear them. And yes, one has to be careful when one sits down, but that didn’t matter. If one has the right shape and nice legs, those short hemlines always look good (except in church:)
