Our worst fears are here. Sydney has been SORASed. Meet the new Sydney:
We are saddened to say goodbye to Hailey & Lauren Sinnema from the role of Sydney. We hope the girls the best in their future auditions. But we are also excited to announce the brand new girls who will be taking over the role next month. Elizabeth & Mariam are not new to tv. The girls can be seen in shows like Heroes and The Unit, and were in the mega hit movie The Hangover. We’ll keep you posted on the girls and their premiere so stay tuned. And we welcome the girls to the Star-Kidz family.

I am going to miss the little twins who played Sydney. It was always such a treat to see them on screen. However, they have been absent lately–we’ve hardly seen them in the past few weeks. Guess they are trying to get us ready for the change to the new twins.
since they aged Sydney at least 2 years. The casting call went out for 3-year olds. I’m distressed enough that they recast those cutiepies who played Sydney. I wouldn’t want to see a recast for Johnny, too. Those little guys are just wonderful. Ali is hardly ever seen, so maybe since they already did a recast of her, they will just now leave well enough alone.
I’m thinking they did it because Sydney wasn’t very animated and they are trying to get a little more ‘acting’ out of her, more like Johnny. Maybe these girls can do it. It certainly couldn’t have been just to make her older because six months isn’t that much to really matter.
I agree with the idea that they probably want more animation from Sydney..while the other babies are cute, the twin often looked too quiet for what was happening in the story.
Will, Theo, Cierra and their parents too?
I guess we should be grateful they didn’t pull a Belle or a Philip! A Belle was when John and Marlena went on their honeymoon leaving Sami with a 6 year old and returned to a 16-17 year old! The Philip was when he went upstairs as a baby with Henderson and returned as a 16-17 year old while Will (born the same year) stayed a little kid!
