In case anyone is interested, the 2012 Daytime Emmys are on at 8:00 p.m. on the HNL network. Don’t know about other subscribers, but Comcast is showing it on Channel 57 here in Maryland. Right now they’re showing the red carpet part of the program. Everyone looks elegant, especially KA, who is a presenter. Matt Ashford, Chandler Massey, Molly Burnett, and others have received nominations. Good Luck DOOL, which received 15 noms in all.

June 24, 2012 at 2:32 am #33913PattiParticipantYou were in fine company, but you deserved it. But, the writers (Dena Higley, et. al., —- seriously?) By the way, I will never understand why DOOL didn’t snatch up Nathan Parsons when he was let go from GH. He could be James Scott’s brother, IRL, in looks, height, build, etc. Even has the accent to go with it. Missed opportunity there, Days.
June 24, 2012 at 1:17 pm #33917mommytutuParticipantBut I guess Chandler won? If so, that’s fantastic! I think he is truly a talented actor and I think he’ll go far in his career. The writers got an award? What the hell for? Maybe it’s for Will’s storyline. It was the only good one on Days this past year.
June 24, 2012 at 2:09 pm #33920caseyParticipantBut that was one win that had to be a no brainer. If he didn’t walk away with the award I would have figured it was fixed!
June 24, 2012 at 6:01 pm #33923NoraParticipantI didn’t watch it either but I’m so happy Chandler won! he has become one of my favorite characters next to Nicole. congrats to everyone that won!
June 25, 2012 at 1:00 am #33927bluebonnetParticipantHLN tonight, so I got to see Chandler M win his Emmy. He has shorter hair now, so guess that will show up on Days in a couple of months. His personality on the stage accepting his award was so similar to his onscreen personality. He seems to be a very likable guy–was very appreciative and said he was glad his parents were there with him.
June 25, 2012 at 2:30 pm #33932PattiParticipantEveryone looked so elegant, and I loved the new short cut on Chad (Casey Deidrich) as well. Although I liked Will’s hair a little longer, Chad’s looks great. Can’t wait to see it on the show.
June 25, 2012 at 5:15 pm #33935bluebonnetParticipantI did happen to see Kristian A in a beautiful yellow dress, but didn’t realize the Red Carpet was being replayed until it was practically over. Glad Chad got a haircut, too.
June 25, 2012 at 7:56 pm #33940BonbonParticipantthe Sun-Sentinel today about the poor attendance and how strange it was to see so many "stars" valet-parking their own cars themselves. I guess daytime TV is going to the dogs…or, the talk shows.
I wish I’d known it was on because I think the women, in particular, always look absolutely fabulous for these award shows.
(I thought it was my son’s wonky laptop that was causing so many typos but now that I’m home, I find out it is my new acrylic nails. Hope this doesn’t continue.)
June 27, 2012 at 1:52 am #33960powerpaw2ParticipantHe definitely deserved the award and seemed genuinely surprised and excited.
