<3 Friday's show!

OH ME TOO !!!   I LOVED Today!   IT was Fabulous!    Dont miss it if you havent seen it yet!  Heck I even enjoyed Stef and Elvis.  too bad Elvis had to change out of his Tshirt and put on that dumb gray suit and pink shirt he ALWAYS wears.     BUT BRAVO on a Wonderful show today!  Just makes you smile!  

I thought it was too much.  I was getting bored with the scenes in the Horton house.  And I was really surprised to see flashbacks of Mac.  We never see him.  I think it’s because they have to pay his estate whenever they use his likeness but not the case with Frances.

I WAS liking the EJ/Stefano scene but they went too far with that one too.  (So, I guess EJ went to Oxford…according to his t-shirt?)  I hope this isn’t indicative of what the new writers are going to be putting out.  Have you notice also how many scenes include everybody talking at once?  I really don’t like that, yes, it’s realistic but too distracting for a TV show.

Something occured to me too.  Do you realize that Bo and Hope have been married (on the show) longer than they have been married to their respective spouses in real life?  Kind of strange, huh?

early concern about what I’ve seen from the new Days – scenes going on too long and becoming repetitous. And yes, I agree about the characters talking over each other. They almost appear to be too “giddy” at times. But this may just be the writing team getting out the glitches and/or preparing the way for the new era and hopefully they will settle in.

 to present the new direction of the show and to remind the fans that better DAYS are ahead.  I enjoyed it yesterday, but I wouldn’t want to watch that sort of giddyness every single day.  I loved the flashbacks, and Bo and Hope’s love story is something DOOL will always be remembered by, and their reminiscing the ‘good ole’ days’ was a means of intent that DOOL will be headed back in time, more family-oriented, fun-loving, and romantic times than what we’ve been watching.  I want that too, but not on ‘overload.’  We still need to have the bad guys in the picture, but I got the impression that Stefano was ‘passing the torch’, so to speak, when he handed E.J. the King chess-piece.  I think the next generatin of DiMera control is going to be placed firmly in E.J.’s hands, sort of like when Marlon Brando passed the reins to Al Pachino in The Godfather.  I’m anxious to watch the mayoral election story line; I think that’s going to be the first family/conflict/character-driven story line that will affect a lot of people.  I’m pleased so far with the way things are going.

it was just too much of a good thing.   I enjoyed the flashbacks, but there were just too many all at one time.  I would rather have seen some of the current stories concluded or explained instead of all the flash backs.  

The focus on Bo and Hope seemed to be saying that they will be the core couple to replace the deceased Dr. and Mrs. Horton, even though only a few months ago, Bo was with Carly.

After Zach died and Hope went away with Patrick or ran into him on that island her and Bo did get divorced.  That’s when she ended up pregnant with Ciara and she thought Patrick was the daddy.  Bo still loved her and they remarried again.  Not sure if they actually went through with the divorce this time when she was under the influence of drugs or if Bo put it off after Hope was arrested and sent to prison. 

After the Patrick fiasco and throwing her ring in the water, they did get remarried but she never wore a ring again after that.  During this most recent separation, they never got divorced so they are still married.  Bo wears his ring again, but Hope doesn’t.
