Do you like Bobby Flay? I do kinda, I love his new commercial for Throwdown! It’s so catchy! makes you want to bob your head back and forth! LOL! watching the next iron chef now. Ya know Chef Forgeon is really cute! He’s the mowhawk guy! Not sure who’s going home, none are doing too well on this challenge, Chef Tsai did the best so far, they didnt have anything bad to say about his. I had a feeling that the indian chef(her name is slipping my memory!) would go home this week. she hasnt been constant.

I do have NIC on the DVR for watching tomorrow, I’m not sure who’s going! I don’t think while I was surfin’ during the commericals that Chef "Mowhawk" Forgeon was doing so well tonight, at least not in the first round, and he was doing so great last week!
I’ve only watched Throwdown once or twice but the commerical is good…it’s got a beat you can dance too LOL. But based on your recommendation and the commercial I will have to catch it – I think it’s on Demand – (a feature that my cable company has in our area that has a great many of the popular shows of all sorts of genres without the commericals) – and I can catch up there on the past shows.
Right now watching Food NetWork Challenge – and the DH’s at 9ish. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are all favorite nights to DVR and watch shows on t.v. for me. Sometime with 150 channels, (or however many cable brings) I still can’t find anything decent to watch! And then other nights there’s too many good shows on! Sometimes the DVR loads up to 98% because I forward through two weeks and pick out shows to tape and think to myself oh this show sounds good or that show sounds interesting and then when I sit down to watch five minutes into it, I think what the heck was I thinking?

LOL I miss having a dvr we havent had one since we moved from iowa. not really a big chance of talking my mom and dad into getting one, maybe if I ask for one for christmas! I dont really need that much for Christmas anymore! a dvr would be ideal! LOL. esp when there’s 2 shows on at the same time I want to watch! Throwdown is ok, I dont love it but it’s a good show, and his Grill it show too. I’m not crazy about challenge I watch it sometimes, i did watch it last night though. it’s amazing what they can make out of sugar and chocolate! i was too tired from the trip to look for soemthing else! haha.

Why does he have to be better? After he gives the challenge, it takes a team of people to come up with what he thinks is a better way of cooking something. And yet the people who have been challenged seem delighted to see him. I suppose it’s good advertising for them and they probably get paid something for doing it. But my opinion of Bobby Flay is to turn him off.
November 1, 2010 at 7:34 pm #17571NoraParticipantHe isnt my fav, believe me, he’s on the bottom of my watching, and I watch ALOT of food network. yeah he does come off as arrogant, someone else said that about him, why does he think he has to be the best. I do like his wife, Stephanie marsh, she was a DA on Law and order SVU. she played a lesbian. but yes I agree with you about him and his show. he even apologizes sometimes when he does win so why even bother? who knows.
