now…she reminds me of Stephanie. Mel has spark and fire, and although there’s been times she’s driven me up the proverbial wall, she at least has some redeeming qualities.
I could not stand this character (the first Abby back in high school I liked) from the getgo. This obsession with Austin is not “must see tv!”
I was thinking today, i havent seen today’s show, but i saw yesterday Abby grabing a drunk Austin and kisses him. They are abut as sick as Carrie and Rafe are, these people have ZERO Chemistry. Normally age doesnt bother me, but he looks so much older than her. i know i’m repeating myself but i cannot stand this SL!!! Abby reminds me alot of Stephanie!!! Also Sami! LOL She should go ask Sami and take notes on how to steal Austin away from Carrie! i wonder when JAck and Jenn are going to find out about their daughter’s obscession(sp?) with a married man!
I can see the writing on the wall. Something’s going to happen to Abby. Either psychological, emotional or physically and Jack and Jen will blame Austin.
heck, I had a couple of those myself when I was younger, even on a teacher of mine. But, they didn’t need to have her act on it. It lowers my estimation of Abby. She has always been portrayed as a smart level-headed young lady, much like her mother. Who are they going to ruin next?
I have a few other ‘complaints’ about this storyline. 1. Being that Abby is too young for Austin. 2. Abby acting on this obsession. 3. Havinig Austin so drunk in his college office that he doesn’t know what happened??? As a college professor, being drunk in your office should be grounds for firing him. Then, add to that, inappropriate relationship (kissing etc.) with one of his students is a big NO, NO!
I do get the feeling that Austin is clueless about what happened except for kissing Abby and that was something he got dragged into by Abby’s actions. He wants his wife as was clear by yesterday’s show. Abby is living in dreamland and I do suspect that she will go off the deep end soon. And to think Jen was against her being a model for Madison – this is far worse than modeling in my mind.
There are girls today who become obsessed and go after the guy. However Abby has always been portrayed as smart and level headed. Is this a subconscoius thing with Abby to go after a man old enough to be her father cause her father was always leaving? Girls can be very manipulative, especially when Austin seems to be REALLy dumb!!!
I just wonder if Jack and Jen will immediately blame Austin for ruining their little girl!
don’t you think he should have wondered how, if he slept with Abby, he would have to question why he woke up with her in her underware and yet he was fully clothed? Stupid beyond words!
Since Austin didn’t have sex with her it would be a complete repeat of the Sami/Austin/Lucas storyline if she does and says it’s his.
to do the "deed", especially guys. And especially drunk guys, and she could have just zipped up his pants again (sorry for that mind-picture).
EJ and Sami didn’t get undressed when they did their little horizontal mambo. Technically speaking, neither one of them would have to take a thing off. Awkward but do-able if you’re in a frenzy.
I just wonder how long it will be before Abbey comes clean. But I’m sure it will come out that they DID do "it" first. Poor, dumb Austin. He should get this week’s "DUH" award.
