Well so the final 2 are Phillip and Jessica! I’m happy!!! I’ll be rooting for Jessica, I’ve liked her since the beginning. I sort of lost interest in this season for some reason. Phillip sort of reminds me of the guy who sang a lot of blues songs, can’t remember his name, don’t think I ever heard him on the radio. But Phillip reminds me of him. I hope Jessica wins. I did like Joshua, and I’m sure he will end up with a record deal. Wish him the best!
I haven’t watched the performances from Wednesday night, I’ll probably do that tomorrow.I’m happy Joshua went home and I hope Phillip wins.
Do you believe how excited and smiley J.Lo was when it was announced Jessica was in the finale but when it was announced Phillip made it she was clapping but not looking to happy. I realize they all have their favorites but come on, this is entertainment and nothing more, it’s not like they’re being voted president. People had to have liked him for him to get as far as he did and he deserves the judges showing some support.
I haven’t watched tonight’s yet either! I just looked online to see who was off. I’m going to watch them tomorrow.
I know she was a huge Josh backer. I too am glad it’s Phil and Jessica.
BTW, Jennifer must really know her music. She made a comment when critiquing Jessica’s “I’ll be There” that she needed a bit of Jermaine Jackson. I didn’t realize Jermaine sang some solo on that MJ hit, and even Jimmy I. had forgotten that and said he probably hurt Jessica with that choice.for Joshua, but some of the comments praising Joshua must have been extremely hurtful for the other contestants. It was obvious he was their favorite. I was pleased with the final result. Two completely different styles. I still think Jessica should take it, but I know better than to count Phillip out. Seems he has a huge fan base, especially with the younger female voters. When he performs, those girls go crazy, so it would not be hard to him imagine him winning it all. But, I agree, at this point they all have won, because no doubt they will all be receiving recording contracts.
