Yesterday I saw where her contract is up for renewal with Days and there was speculation that she might not renew due to her other show and all she’s been doing. But, this morning, I see where the Biggest Loser had to stop production due to a worker’s strike. The people behind the scenes aren’t getting health care and are asking to be treated like other TV crews. Wonder how long that will last?
I sure hate it if Allison were to leave. She’s been pretty much the backbone of the show for quite a while now.
I know she has just driven me up the wall the last year because I was a big fan of hers prior to her "…I’m doing this for my kids…" era. A few other fans from what I read are upset with the way Allison’s stories and lines for Sami are being written.
I am wondering if this is just a ratings ploy, Hollyweird has done that from time immortal. So it would be no big surprise for the show to float the rumors that Allison may not resign contract. Allison has been pretty smart in getting out on other shows and being seen. I just wonder if true, has she thought this completely through?
How many other soap stars leave for "greener pastures" and to become a big-name movie star…and may make one or two low budget movies only to go back to soaps to make a living. Allison is a great little actress, but there are thousands out there that are great too…and a lot younger – sad reality of Hollyweird – the shelf life of an actress is not very long these days, and not many are a Katherine Hepburn that can stand the test of decades.
of Days. I can’t put in to words how to describe her. She is not a stable person, dishonest, manipulative, spastic, habitual liar, etc.
I wouldn’t miss her if she left the show.
I was noticing how pretty Nicole looked today and how (can I say dowdy) Sami looked. No comparison.
While I dislike the character Sami, I certainly don’t think of Alison Sweeney as dowdy. I was not a fan of her plaid shirt, but I think her hair and makeup always look nice. Both Sami and Nicole are very pretty women. Just my 2 cents.
AS and AZ are BOTH staples of the show. I hate E.J., but I consider him a staple just because he is a DiMera. AS has been on DOOL much, much longer than both AZ and JS, but all are wonderful actors, IMO. I literally despise the way they dress E.J., as well as Philip, but the actors wear what wardrobe decides they wear. One or two may have a say in their wardrobe selection, but not many.
watched yesterday’s show and as they kept panning from Sami to Nicole during their scenes, I couldn’t help but notice the difference in their appearances. Both are very pretty with Nicole in a sort of glamorous/hollywood kind of way and Sami in a sort of girl-next-door kind of way. It just seemed so pronouned yesterday more so than I’ve ever noticed before.
