I’m having a hard time being sympathetic towards Allie – she may have been raped but she was obviously too drunk to be positive it was Tripp. And of course there is no inncoence until proven guilty in Salem. All you have to do is accuse someone with no proof and everyone believes it (unfortunately this happens IRL all the time). If only there was a test that would prove if Tripp is the father LOL. Also, John is BARELY Allie’s grandfather and has probably seen her once since she was born, yet he is more upset than anyone
October 16, 2020 at 12:35 pm #57482bluebonnetParticipantWhy in the world is everyone assuming either Tripp or Allie is lying. Why not consider that someone could be mistaken, as you mentioned, goodolddays, especially if alcohol is involved. The character of Allie has been driving me crazy throughout this whole storyline, so the sooner it is resolved, the better. Most of the time Allie acts like a 15-year-old rather than a 22 or 23-year-old anyway. On a side note, I didn’t like Nicole’s look at all yesterday. Hair and dress were terrible!
October 16, 2020 at 1:39 pm #57483mommytutuParticipantI don’t like this whole storyline. Nicole has now become meddling Maggie. She needs to stay the heck out of this. With all of these "experts" why has no one suggested a DNA test between Tripp and Henry. If every viewer knows that, why hasn’t Kayla, a doctor, or Steve, PI, suggested it?
Sadly, we are entering into the two weeks of filler shows, so no resolution is coming any time soon.
October 16, 2020 at 11:01 pm #57486bradysgmaParticipantIt is possible that Tripp left & someone entered somehow and Allie thought it was still Tripp.
October 17, 2020 at 12:12 am #57489goodolddaysParticipantAfter today’s show, I’m thinking it was Charlie. Also, now that Kayla suggested a DNA test, I’m sure it will be switched lol.
October 17, 2020 at 3:46 am #57490powerpaw2ParticipantI couldn’t care less about her (nothing against the actress).
October 17, 2020 at 2:10 pm #57494mommytutuParticipantCharlie will be another sibling of Tripp’s that he didn’t know about. Perhaps a half sibling from Ava Vitali.
October 17, 2020 at 2:13 pm #57495mommytutuParticipantI really don’t like the character. I don’t like the storyline either. If we had some bonding with the Allie character it would be easier to care, but we didn’t get that. When Allie was little, she barely got a couple of lines in. We had more bonding with the Johnny character. If they had brought him back we probably would have been more invested in his story.

November 8, 2020 at 2:54 pm #57528bluebonnetParticipantIdentical twins have 100% of their DNA the same while fraternal twins share only 50%. Another thing about this DNA thing that bothers me is that it is odd that Kayla, being a doctor, hasn’t stated that there is another way the DNA might not be Tripp’s. She did say that Steve’s DNA could be mistaken for Tripp’s, but why hasn’t she brought up the fact that an identical twin’s DNA could be identical as well? How does she know that an identical twin might not exist? After all, Steve and Kayle didn’t even know about Tripp’s existance a few years ago so why wouldn’t they not know about an identical twin that Ava had?
