First he gets blown up in a building, along with Stefano, but miraculously awakens and is able to walk away; then he staggers through the tunnels back into the mansion, where he collapses again; then he removes an object from his face that was imbedded into his cheek and opens a gaping wound (kudos to the make-up dept., by the way), makes a few calls, puts some peroxide on the wound, and all of this before he calls his doctor, who dresses his wound and tells him to rest and promises to return the next day to stitch the would, but Andre instead decides to break into Hope’s house, where we see him walking around with no difficulties whatsoever, and in complete darkness to boot, to do a search of Hope’s completely dark house, even managing to side-step Shawn Douglas, who also doesn’t think it necessary to turn on a light, even after running upstairs to confirm that NO ONE’s HOME, allowing Andre to slip out, sight unseen. LMAO! That was the most ridiculous scene I have witnessed from Thaao so far, and he’s had some very silly ones. I was almost hoping he would have shot Shawn, which would have at least made the whole thing a little more exciting to watch. So far I am disappointed in Thaao’s return.
excellent makeup on Andre. I was eating my supper while watching the show and when his face came on the screen, I definitely had to look away. UGH!!
Another comment about that scene: The background music drowned out the sound that Andre’s phone made when he received a text. I didn’t even realize that had happened (and wondered what had caught Shawn’s attention) until Andre got back home and told his henchman that he had almost gotten him killed. I went back and viewed the scene again and still had a really hard time hearing the text sound.
TP’s return has been. I have always enjoyed his presence, though certainly not as Andre. I wish he would just go away.
One complaint I have about Andre’s seeming capabilities of moving around so easily after being blown up is that he would most likely have sustained a concussion because of the explosion yet no sign of that.
Also, Jen has back pain sufficient to be taking pain killers yet she is walking perfectly erect without any apparent back pain. Anyone who has ever suffered severe back pain knows you stand and walk very gingerly.
Same with Brady. He had his check cracked open and I can tell you from experience, you don’t recover from that in a couple of days. That was by far the most difficult surgery I have ever had to recuperate from and I have had back, four intestinal, hip, and some other assorted surgeries. It took every ounce of fortitude I had just to get out of bed and walk to a chair. He certainly would have not been at the funeral or reception, especially with the ease he was navigating.
And, of course, both his and Eric’s facial wounds have healed completely in just a couple of days. (I disagree that’s it’s been a month since Daniel died, it’s only been a couple of days.)

And I have to disagree with you Bonbon on how long Daniel has been dead. The accident happened on New Year’s Eve, they made a big point out of the date of the fashion show, and when Hope came in to admit to killing Dr. What’s his name they gave the date as January 18th, which matched the air date of the show as I recall. It’s a silly, careless way of dealing with time these writers have come up with. You can’t give specific dates and then act as if Dec. 31 and January 18 are just a day apart.
had a toe tag which showed a later date, something around the 18th or 19th. Can’t remember now which date they showed it. I think it was when Eric walked in to see him.
We all know the accident was Dec. 31. And that Daniel was declared brain dead immediately. Although they did clear out christmas awfully fast so maybe we were supposed to interpret that as time passing? Little things that make me crazy.
