I was surprised when carrie said she had been texting with her mom on today’s show. the last I remember of anna dimera, i thought she disappeared from the hotel or hospital room and no one knew where she was (in particular, the dimeras were looking for her, as was some branch of the police trying to get help for rafe’s case.) although the danger to her life may be over since rafe was found safe, etc., i don’t recall the show ever resolving anything about her disappearing like that. i don’t watch real closely, so if someone else remembers the show saying what had happened to anna (prior to her texting with carrie), please clear this up for me.
December 14, 2011 at 10:42 pm #29614caseyParticipantbut maybe I missed some explanation along the line?
December 14, 2011 at 11:03 pm #2961653tdogsParticipantis ever dead, disappeared, sick with a horrible disease, etc. for long…
December 15, 2011 at 1:10 am #29618NoraParticipantAdd me to that list. I was surprised to hear that. I guess that’s just another part of history we viewers are just supposed to forget.
December 15, 2011 at 12:03 pm #29625BonbonParticipantalthough I don’t think it’s no longer necessary for her to do so. She wouldn’t have to reveal where she is just because she’s texting Carrie.
December 16, 2011 at 1:57 am #29649lynnekarenParticipantNo explanation or anything. In fact, and I could be wrong, wasn’t Anna impared or something last we saw her?
December 16, 2011 at 2:31 am #29650DeeLanParticipantLast I remember of Anna she was in the hospital and woke from a coma. She was trying to escape her room as Rafe was going to see her. She opened her door and said "you" or something like that and when Rafe got there she was gone. We were never told what happened to her.
December 16, 2011 at 3:03 pm #29653PattiParticipanta complete lack of research, or even caring, what happened to the character before they mention in a scene that Carrie texts her mother. Somebody should really be reprimanded for that one. It’s not like the last time we saw Anna, she wasn’t part of a front-burner storyline, and then, poof, she’s gone; and then, out of the blue, poof, she’s surmized to be alive and well and receiving a text from her daughter, AND has an ornament bearing her name hanging on the tree in the HTS. Am I complaining too much about this oversight? I don’t think so …. as a matter of fact, it makes more than one person on the writing staff look like an imbicile to me. JMO!
December 17, 2011 at 12:42 pm #29668BonbonParticipantI guess when they figure they story is over, there is no explanation needed. I’m sure we could go back and apply this to many past characters.
December 17, 2011 at 4:06 pm #29678SWParticipantwent out to mail a letter and was never seen or heard from again! Then there’s Philip the baby that went up to bed and returned a few years later as a teenager. Belle and Brady who were at a John/Marlena wedding as babies and were left with a late teenaged Sami while they honeymooned in Hawaii only to have J/M return to High School/college-aged kids!

December 17, 2011 at 5:14 pm #29684DeeLanParticipantThen there’s Cassie who went upstairs at the pub to take a nap.
