Tamara Braun will return as Ava Vitali! Hmmm, don’t think I’m going to like this (although I love TB, just not as Ava). So who will she be an interloper for….Steve and Kayla or Marlena and John? Hopefully, neither! Nope, not so sure I’m going to like this return. She’s already started taping but won’t be seen until December. Hopefully, she’s not going to be causing two super couples nothing but terror….then, again, why else would she be returning as Ava Vitali?
Don’t tell me that. I couldn’t stand that character…or, the actor either. Wasn’t it Steve she was involved with last time? Maybe when Steve returns she’ll be dragging behind on his coattails. Ugh! Maybe she can room with Eve so we can keep all the “ick factor” in one place.
I mean, let’s face it, so far we have been hearing about legacy character returns, even right down to SORASing the chldren of legacy characters, so where does Ava Vitali fit into this mold? Until she was penned by Dena Higley, the Vitali’s were certainly not among the legends like Toni/Andre, Shawn D., Belle, Steve (Patch), Bo, and the list of returnees goes on. She did have that ridiculous sl with John Black, but that was when he was being brainwashed (god, I hate to even say that) by Stefano as "RoboJohn", so I’m hoping he doesn’t even remember her. Please don’t try and tell me, writers, that this is where Steve’s been all this time. So if she’s going to be involved with Steve, I hope it’s some sort of reformed ex-mafia princess going straight, or maybe another ISA agent or something along that route, rather than going after Steve again in some romantic fashion. Eww, forget I said that, writers. No thanks to that as a possible sl, especially when many fans are waiting patiently for Patch and Kayla to work through the problems which led to their very long separation. It’s time to reunite the supercouples. After all, Ken Corday and the cast members themselves have been droning on about getting back to basics when everyone loved DOOL!!!
I have zero zero interest in both the actress and character. Doesn’t the Days brass clue in to what the viewers want? Surely no one is holding their breath to see Ava come back. This is a setback for the anticipation of the new writers.
BTW, just how many of the returnees are staying? It’s getting crowded.I liked her a LOT as Ava – though that story got a little too "General Hospital" for me.
Tam is a MAJOR talent (won the Emmy for that role too I think.) Bring it on. We have a lot of vets coming back and I’m sick of new faces – so for me she’s like a "new old" face. I like her a lot. I rather see her in a storyline that did NOT involve Patch or John but I’m okay with her return.
As far as I’m concerned she can stay gone. I want Patch and Kayla reunited. Period! If she messes that up she will quickly go on my Sh%$ list.
And she’s talented as all get out. Just don’t let her interfere with Steve and Kayla "patching" things up.
is she always seemed an outsider on Days. Her family was touted as a Dimera-tyoe mafioso and I expected some good meaty stuff. But I only became annoyed with the character and the bigtime villain aura never came through.
I never saw anything in her portrayal of Ava one way or the other. She left me completely cold and I certainly can’t see why they are bringing her back. She must know somebody.
