OMG!! The past two weeks have been the best soap opera I’ve seen in my life – Christina getting beat up by her boyfriend and blaming it on Ethan. Every single character involved in this trauma has been spectacular. Then throw in Sonny’s trial for beating his wife to death (though he is protecting his son who was the real killer) and everybody’s reactions and questions to both incidents and this SL tops the charts.
I love the way Christina keeps begging "Don’t blame Ethan for what happened to me." The wording is perfect. Nobody is listening to what she’s saying – that even though she accused him he didn’t do it. I’m on pins and needles waiting for this to play out.

April 3, 2010 at 2:58 am #11726JKParticipantI stopped when Jason took back the woman (Sam) who watched his son be kidnapped and kept silent, as well as hired thugs to scare his family in the park. That was the nail in the coffin of GH for me and I’ve never looked back. My hubby still watches it (shockingly) so I’ve seen a show here and there and it seemed like the Christina story was pretty well done. I’m done with soaps, though…it starts to feel incestuous when the whole town has slept with one another. LOL.

(or is it who? )
Nicole/Lucas/Nicole/Victor/Kate/Daniel/Chole/Lucas/Phillip/Chole/Brady/John B/Marlena/Isabella/Kate/Hope/Bo/….need I go on? I can’t even get it straight this far…
April 7, 2010 at 2:37 am #11818JKParticipantI don’t watch Days anymore, either. I did just see GHthis evening because my DH had it on. It struck me when Molly called her sister’s dad Uncle Sonny. I had to think for a second and remembered that is true.
April 7, 2010 at 1:50 pm #11827TopazParticipantI remember when General Hospital’s stories revolved around the seventh floor nurses’ station, and Jessie Brewer and Dr. Steve Hardy were the main characters. Man, that was a long time ago.
April 7, 2010 at 2:20 pm #11826PattiParticipantand I agree, it is getting pretty hot to watch right now. Lexie Ainsworth is doing a fabulous job portraying teenagers who face an abusive relationship and continue to try and protect their abuser. Well, Kiefer won’t be hurting anyone else now, will he? I’m really surprised GH has now recast both of the Corinthos boys. I realize that the younger one (Morgan) has signed on to do a pilot, and Drew Garrett, who plays Michael Corinthos, III, (and who reminds me very much of an older Will Roberts) has been recast with a kid from the popular Disney show, Wizards of Waverly Place. My granddaughters watch that show all the time and know exactly who the recast is, but I thought it was a big mistake to recast Drew. He did a terrific job as the son of a mob boss. GH, as well as Y&R, have gotten pretty exciting over the last couple of weeks.
April 7, 2010 at 6:14 pm #11840luckeyParticipantsmall TV watching with my Mom. There were a lot of conversations that went on in that medicine room during those early years! Remember Lucille, the head nurse who was Audry’s sister?
