There was a 13 yr old opera singer who is fabulous – blew the roof off the building. Even Simon gave her a standing O. What a talent!
June 1, 2016 at 3:30 pm #51698PattiParticipantand an opera star already. She may be the predicted early winner before anyone else is even seen.
June 2, 2016 at 2:03 pm #51706bluebonnetParticipantShe seems like such a sweetheart, not to mention being such a HUGE talent!
June 2, 2016 at 2:58 pm #51708BonbonParticipantshe can’t hold a candle to Jackie Evanco who was only eight years old. That girl qualified as a super star.
June 2, 2016 at 3:01 pm #51709BonbonParticipantSimon Cowell being back again. I didn’t like Howard Stern at all but Simon appears to be such a big oaf and so full of himself. He always likes to make disgusting faces when he knows somebody is going to be good so he can do that wide-eyed amazed turn-around he like to do. He just ought to try being real for a change.
June 2, 2016 at 11:12 pm #51714caseyParticipantThese kids seem to have a short shelf life. Remember Charlotte Church? Jackie was indeed talented but I never liked her lyric pronunciation – the words always sounded kind of cotton-mouthed. I’m always suspect when these judges call contestants “superstars” right off the getgo. No, they are not.
August 25, 2016 at 9:44 pm #52058bradysgmaParticipantthat singer, I think whe was 12 years old, who sang & played the ukulele, I didn’t care for her & judges were just gushing over her. She sort of reminded me of Claire’s singing.
August 25, 2016 at 10:13 pm #52060caseyParticipanttaken with her performance as I am with her song writing. For a 12 year old these original compostions are extremely impressive, particularly the lyrics. The family singing trio is good, but I don’t see the raves. Now that one male singer who did the Phil Collins number is a real talent.
The magicians are all quite good too.September 3, 2016 at 2:23 pm #52123BonbonParticipantHer voice and style is so different and she just want’s to make you give her a hug. But the opera singer is also fantastic. Her Jesu Pie absolute blew everybody away. But then, this year it seems like they are all way up there on talent. I love Tape Face too, he really cracks me up. I don’t much care for the knife thrower because it’s the same thing over and over. I think they are riding on the sexy wife. It’ll be really interesting on this one.
September 3, 2016 at 3:36 pm #52130caseyParticipantis amusing but for me definitely not worthy of the win and a Vegas act. That he moved ahead of the opera girl was absurd. Yes, the wife of the Knife duo is one sexy chick. I felt the 12 yr old comic took too many liberties for her age.
September 14, 2016 at 12:28 pm #52189caseyParticipantThis was the best final lineup I’ve seen. Many are worthy. The judges’ choice seems to be with the uke kid, but no way should a 12 yr old command a Vegas act and a million bucks. I could see the clairvoyants having plenty of material w/audience participation for a unique show. Hope the voters recognize that.
I really appreciated Justin’s passion, creativity and vocal ability.September 14, 2016 at 2:22 pm #52191BonbonParticipantThey could pick any one and I would be okay with it. In fact, I don’t even have a favorite but I agree the The Clairvoyants would certainly have the best Vegas act. It’ll be interesting to see the outcome.
IMO, this is the best season ever as far as talent goes.
September 15, 2016 at 12:39 pm #52192caseyParticipantShe was the favorite going in but I still can’t see her headlining a Vegas show at her age and with just her original material. I’m sure the clairvoyants will be booked somewhere.
This was a great season.
And I have to say I believe fatherhood has softened Simon Cowell. For the most part he was very cordial and generous with his critiques and I saw very little of the snarky American Idol judge.September 15, 2016 at 7:21 pm #52198bradysgmaParticipantI am so disappointed that the Clairvoyants didn’t win. I would go to see them at Las Vegas, but not any of the singers, no matter how good.
