I thought this past Monday’s episode was quite good. I’m actually kind of glad Minx’s mom got the wrath of Drill. I could never stand her. And there is something quite unique about the actress who plays Claire. She is fascinating to watch and not like anyone else I’ve seen.

And I’m finding the dialog rather poorly written and uninteresting. Maybe it’s just me but I’m about ready to hang it up.
Actually, I’m in the same boat with Zoo which I thought I’d love because I really like James Patterson’s books but this tale is so impossibly to believe that I just sit there shaking my head. Where are all the good shows like Vikings, American Horror Show, Madam Secretary and that show two years ago about the Russian Mafia wife? That one was REALLY good. And I miss Galavant and Merlin too. Galavant may be back but Merlin is done for good. Another one I miss that I can’t remember the name of but Will (of Will and Grace…Eric What’s-his-name) played a professor with mental problems and helped a woman FBI agent solve crimes.

Now Zoo I am still liking it, it is getting somewhat crazy too, but it is keeping my interest so far.August 27, 2015 at 1:38 am #48082caseyParticipantthey call it the Whispers. But I really am enjoying it, though it always seems people in government are portrayed as stick figures who don’t have a clue.
One thing I would say – I assumed this was just a one season series and I cannot imagine how it will maintain suspense and drama. I think it would be better if they annihilated Drill and called it a day after this run.September 1, 2015 at 2:09 pm #48189BonbonParticipantbut look how long that went on. The only trouble was, the longer it lasted, the worse it got. The first year was great but after that…blah. Yeah, I’m all for flipping the switch (pun intended) on Drill too.
But, good news on another front. I just saw a promo for Gallivant the other night and it’s coming back on in January. Yippee!
September 1, 2015 at 2:10 pm #48190BonbonParticipantmainly because of the animals and Special FX. They have done a good job with those and I’ve always been a big fan of special FX.
September 1, 2015 at 4:22 pm #48198caseyParticipantand I can see how it will set up another season. Very Speilberg in his kids trump adults mindset. But I can’t see it going beyond two runs.
September 1, 2015 at 4:34 pm #48199PattiParticipantreally enjoying it!
