Busey goes off the rails! He is one bullheaded guy whose total abstract approach doomed him. Now how much of this was production staff urging him to “go Gary” I don’t know, but he thinks this “Oscar nominated actor” tag makes him the world’s greatest thespian. I am SO sick of hearing that. What else other than Buddy Holly has this guy done that’s heralded at all? How many of his films can one rattle off?
Last night was an embarrassment.April 29, 2013 at 2:39 pm #39455PattiParticipanta lot of what goes on in the show; however, that being said, with Gary Busey, I have no doubt in my mind that a lot if not most of it is how he is. I think he has serious brain injury which, at times, he can control, and at other times, not so much. Personally, I’m glad he’s gone. He was really holding Penn and Lisa down, because they would rather take the loss than go against his wild antics, and last night proved it. The silly "mechanical dog" act Busey insisted on doing is what killed them. So be it — good riddance.
April 29, 2013 at 6:16 pm #39458BonbonParticipantthat Oscar nomination was before his head injury and he was a completely different person then (read: “sane”). Now he’s gone totally and completely potty ’round the bend. I’ll say one thing for him though, he certainly can come up with a lot of words. Whether or not they make sense is another thing but he’s got a lot of them stored up there in that disturbed brain.
I just don’t understand why Penn and Lisa put up with all that crap though. Why didn’t they just tell him that wasn’t working and to grow up and get on the band wagon. Then they should have told Trump it was impossible to contribute anything to the task because he wouldn’t listen to anything. I think that’s where the producers come in. I too think they wanted him to dig his own grave. IMO, he should have been gone weeks ago. The man is so far out there they’ll never be able to pull him back in again.
And tell me this, how could a sane person allow himself to be seen that way by millions of viewers. If he’s isn’t brain damaged, he certainly doesn’t have an iota of self esteem, or whatever you would call that.
Also, why did Ivanka tread so lightly? Why didn’t she come right out and say what she saw? And then Trump, praising him for him “being a rock!” Even Joan Rivers was speechless. (I like how they’re having previous winners back as judges.)
I think it’s great Lisa has gone this far. She has surprised me. The next one that needs to go is that stupid, egotistical hill-billy. He’s a wart on a toad…a bump on a log, a tit on a bull… I think this may all come down in the end to Lil’ John and Marylou (she’s definitely one smart cookie). Either her or Penn.
An aside…I want those appliances!
April 29, 2013 at 9:28 pm #39459PattiParticipantand that’s so, so, so much of an accurate description of Trace Adkins this season. LMAO.
April 30, 2013 at 1:37 am #39461caseyParticipantlooks like Trace’s attitude is addressed next week.
