Pat Mahombs in KC? Set the NFL record for most td passes in 2 games. And the Bills passed on him!!

The Jags have to play in KC later on which will be a tough one.

Wondering if Ryan F can keep up his pace as well.

is he’s great the first half of the season and then fades in the second half. Maybe this season will be different.

and quite frankly, I’m betting Mahombs will take the Chiefs to the playoffs this year, and possibly further.

I’m debating going to Titans at Jags this weekend.  They have been bugaboo for us, but this is definitely a different year.  Nosebleed seats are super cheap and I can ride JTA bus for $10.  The only thing making me second guess is I’m still unemployed.

Know you are both happy.  The Jags O looked dismal.  When your D holds the other team to 9 points, you should be able to win.  Not sure what happened to the Pack as I haven’t seen highlights.

Who saw this coming?! Bills destroyed the mighty Vikes. They were a 17 point underdog – almost unheard of. The D was all over the place and QB Allen getting better each week. Just can’t get a handle on this season yet. Yeah, what happen to AR & Co? The Bills next opponent and I don’t want to go up against a fired up Rodgers at Lambeau!

was definitely a thrill to watch, even though I’m patiently waiting to play again on dry land!  LOL!  Guess the players who did decide to ditch the gloves proved successful for them when handling the wet ball.  Flacco was impressive, continuing his really good connection with his wide receivers.  Wasn’t too happy with an interception returned for a TD being called back for an illegal block in the back on the Broncos QB by Ravens Matt Judon, who had absolutely no reason to touch him at all.  All in all, I’m happy to be 2 and 1 and not 1 and 2, since our next 3 games are on the road, where we haven’t had much success in the past, but it’s a new season, so I’m anxious to see how it will pan out for us.  So far I’m remaining hopeful.

Tough losses for both the Jags and the Pac powerpaw2, with another bad call of roughing the passer on Clay Matthews.  He must be wondering what he has to do to get a legal tackle and not be penalized for it.  Damn shame; that rule has to be reviewed and changed.

And, wow, casey….talk about a surprising win ….. the surprise was on Minnesota!!!  The spread-meisters in Las Vegas gave the Bills 17 points, one if not ‘the’ largest spread I think I’ve ever seen in a game …. and the Bills took it, ran with it, and made them sorry for it.  Terrific win!

Now, our Ravens are off to 3 games on the road, the first being next week against our arch-nemesis, the Pittsburgh Steelers…in their house.  Ouch!

                                                              GOOOOOOOOO RAVENS!

but, truth be told, I am A-okay with Le’veon Bell continuing to hold out.  We can’t seem to stop that guy.  And, it’s obvious how much the Steelers miss him.  They’re much better with him than without him.  I’m keeping faith and hope our D holds up better this week, and that the performance of our O stays on its recent track.  I’m not happy to know we have 7 players questionable with injuries.  Some are serious, some not.  Either way, big big game for us.

I read where the Steeler’s won/loss record was no better when he was in the lineup than out. Now that doesn’t obviously point to his full value, but in terms of point totals they don’t score any more with him.

I do know it’s all about the money.  Now, Antonio Brown seems to be following in his footsteps looking for a new contract, although he’s not quite willing to give up what Bell’s willing to lose with every game he sits out.  Fact of the matter is the Steelers are actively open to trading him (Bell), but some teams have shown zero interest.  Must be nice to have that kind of money where his weekly loss amounts to a drop in the bucket to players with Bell’s capabilities.  Guess it comes down to who can afford them.

Bell losing like $900,000 a game! I really see the game in evolution mode where RBs just aren’t worth what they once were. It’s becoming a passing league. Love watching the Rams – great fun!

… should have to work real jobs prior to making the ridiculous money they earn.  Perhaps then they’d be more appreciative of the opportunity.
